Donahue was found with 18 tabs of LSD and 54.4 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop Sept. 16 in the Town of Bloomfield while under bond conditions on charges of fleeing an officer, felony bail jumping and disorderly conduct, according to the criminal complaint. • Carter J. Zacharias, 17, of Delavan; felony bail jumping, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Zacharias was found with a bag of meth and a glass smoking apparatus in a DNR parking lot on Highway 14 in the Town of Darien at about 2:30 a.m. Sept. 26. He was under bond conditions that included possessing no illegal drugs or paraphernalia

All other doors were secure. 6:12 a.m. – dispatched to an alarm on East Koopman Lane. Officers arrived and met with manager who stated all was okay.
7:57 a.m. – responded to a report of a vehicle parked in a lot for several days on West Evergreen Parkway. Learned arrangements were made for a repair shop to pick up the vehicle. 8:36 a.m. – saw owner placing brush in the terrace on South Davis Street. Notified about the drop off site and other options. 9:56 a.m. – called Summit Development about trash pilling up on South Lewis Street. They stated they were working with Advanced Disposal to remove it. 12:10 p.m. – officer bit by dog on North Broad Street. Officers respond and talked with dog owner and completed dog bite report. Informed vet clinic that dog was pepper sprayed for staff safety. 3:26 p.m. – stopped vehicle after pulled out in front of officer in traffic on North Wisconsin Street. Driver was cited for failure to yield from stop sign and for using cell phone with probationary license. 4:07 p.m. – observed cut tree trunks outside residence in terrace on Broad Street. Left tag on door telling them it needs to be brought to DPW. 5:35 p.m. – observed stalled motorist on Potter Road. Officer stopped vehicle on side of road with flat tire. Driver stated would pull into park and ride to wait for help. 9:41 p.m. – headlights going on and off on Highway 12. Officer located the vehicle with no working taillights, it was a mechanical issue. Officer checked the area. 9:50 a.m. – officers assisted with a funeral escort on North Wisconsin Street. 12:34 p.m. – officer noticed vehicle with no rear plate or temp registration on West Geneva Street. Driver stated he sent in registration and showed title and money order receipt. Verbal warning. 11:43 a.m. – dispatched to dog at large on East Kimberly Lane. Neighbors confirm owners leave it outside and they are currently not home. 2:23 p.m. – officer assisted with traffic control for buses on East Court Street. 2:38 p.m. – dog loose in the neighborhood on Kimberly Lane. Officer able to catch dog. Spoke with dog owner and learned that dog got out in the morning when a guest accidentally let the dog out. Told it the dog gets out and they are unable to catch the dog to notify the PD for assistance. Owner was cited for dog at large. 4:29 p.m. – anonymous complaint wants to report vehicles parked improperly in the parking lot on South Wisconsin Street. Car was directly beneath no parking sign. Owner was cited. 8:36 p.m. – officer located side door unlocked on West O’Connor Drive. Interior checked and all appeared okay. Door was secured. 11:47 p.m. – found an
open door on South Wright Street. Officer cleared building and secured the door.
Sept. 11 2:26 a.m. – observed an unoccupied vehicle at a closed business on East Geneva Street. Cleared the building and secured the door. 3:28 a.m. – dispatched to a fire alarm with a smell of smoke on Country Club Parkway. Upon arrival staff stated there was no fire. Fire chief stated it could have been a glitch. 7:18 a.m. – two cars out of traffic on South Getzen Street. Minor crash, responsible driver cited. 12:35 p.m. – snowplow parked on road for a week on North Cranberry Street. Called owner and informed him the vehicle must move once every 24 hours to be parked in street. 2:37 p.m. – provided traffic control and crossing guard duties at high school on East Geneva Street. 3:20 p.m. – dispatched to a two vehicle car accident with no injuries on North Wisconsin Street. The striking vehicle and major damage to the front passenger side above the tires. The non striking vehicle had major damage on the front driver’s side. Striking vehicle was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way. 9:39 p.m. – caller states they were rear ended two people in the car on Theatre Road. Man allegedly assaulted granddaughter, 3 An initial appearance was adjourned until Oct. 14 for a Lake Geneva man charged with sexually assaulting his 3-year-old granddaughter and attempting to assault his 15-year-old daughter. The man, 61, who is not being named to protect the identity of his victims, was charged Sept. 30 in Walworth County Circuit Court with two counts each of first-degree child sexual assault and incest and attempted sexual assault of a child and attempted incest. He faces lifetime supervision as a sex offender if convicted of any one of the six offenses. According to the criminal complaint, the 15-year-old girl told police in September about an incident last year when she got home and lay down in bed with her mom, dad and brother. She said her mom woke up to go work, and her father turned toward her and started unbuttoning her pants, according to the complaint. The girl said she moved, and her father stopped but did touch her thighs during the incident, the complaint states. The girl recounted two other incidents that happened within the past year involving her 3-year-old niece, according to the complaint. In one incident, her father put his hand down the girls pants, the girl told him to stop, and he did, but then touched her privates again after playing with her for awhile, according to the
complaint. The girl said her father smelled his hand after touching the toddler’s privates, the complaint states. In the second incident, she said, her father touched her niece’s private parts over her clothing, according to the complaint.
Man found with cocaine in Lyons
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 12 for a Darien man allegedly found with cocaine during a traffic stop. Jeff M. Stasiak, 41, was charged Sept. 30 in Walworth County Circuit Court with possession with intent to deliver cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia, both as a repeater. According to the criminal complaint, Stasiak was stopped on Highway 50 in the Town of Lyons on Sept. 23 for driving a vehicle with an obstructed front license plate. The apprehending deputy was aware Stasiak’s driving privileges were revoked. A K-9 unit alerted to the presence of controlled substances in the vehicle Stasiak was driving, and several clear plastic baggies that contained cocaine and a digital scale were found, according to the complaint. Stasiak is charged as a repeater having been convicted of child abuse in Walworth County in 2019.
