The junior class hosted an “Enchanted Forest” prom at Lake Lawn Resort on Saturday, April 23. It was a magical night to remember. Prom King and Queen were Mauricio Duran and Delanie Thone. Other members of prom court (not in order) were McKenzie Weiss, Brooklyn Garlock, Aislinn Martinez, Jennylee Garcia Galindo, Parker Krablean, Mickey O’Grady, Emanuel Valadez and Collin Bretl.
Academic All-Stars Delavan-Darien High School recently honored its Academic Top Ten for the Class of 2022 as part of the Southern Lakes Conference. The honor has been part of the SLC for many years, celebrating the academic success of graduating seniors across the conference. The Delavan-Darien track and field team wrapped up its season at the WIAA Division 2 track and field sectional recently. The Comets had a strong season with numerous personal bests, including by Marissa Torres Raby (above) and Grayson Morris (right).
Delavan-Darien’s RJ Jordan recently won the final Southern Lakes Conference boys’ golf major of the season, finished second at the SLC meet and helped the Comets qualify their full team to the WIAA Division 2 sectional tournament.
