The Recovery College has had a fantastic start to the year. It has been lovely to welcome even more students to our growing number of face to face courses. We are happy to announce that our social media marketing has now returned. So keep an eye out for our upcoming courses, week by week. Also sharing some feedback from our Evaluation forms (that students have given their permission to share) & student photography. We have been fortunate to have received art work from a student who attended our Connecting with Creativity course. This features on Page 3. Mental Health First Aid Training. We are pleased to announce that all our staff have now completed the Mental Health First Aid Course. This was a two day course where staff are trained as part of England's largest community of trained Mental Health First Aiders, with Mental Health First Aid England. Both Kate Sault & Julia Arrigo Azzopardi are trained facilitators and delivered the training. The course is aimed at gaining the knowledge and skills, to spot signs of people experiencing poor mental health. To be confident to start a conversation and signpost a person to appropriate support, whilst out in the community.
