THE COMFORT COLLECTIVE A LOOK INSIDE THE BUSINESS FOR OUR LOCAL PARTNERS
The next two weeks open with a run worth watching. October 9 and 10 are already pacing near capacity, 93.4 and 98.0 percent, with the Sunday after still strong at 79.2 percent, a near-sold-out opening weekend. Midweek eases back into the 30s and 40s before the second weekend climbs again: 63.6 percent on the 15th, 76.1 on the 16th, 73.6 on the 17th. The back half of the window settles into the low 40s. Across the full two weeks, bookings are running at 58.4 percent as of today. Zoom out to the full run through early January, and the season is pacing ahead of last year at every point we checked, though the margin is still thin right now. Today’s figure sits at 51.4 percent against 51.2 percent a year ago, essentially even. By November 1, this year leads 32.1 to 31.3. By December 1, the gap widens to 21.2 against 19.2. Heading into the new year, it holds at 19.4 to 17.2. Across the entire run from now through January 4, the season average stands at 33.3 percent versus 31.8 percent last year, a lead that grows the further out we look. Thanksgiving week deserves its own mention. The week of November 22 is already pacing at 58.6 percent, well ahead of the 53.8 percent that same week carried last year, the widest margin in the data we’re tracking. We hope this weekly snapshot continues to be a helpful resource as you plan staffing, inventory, promotions, and guest experiences. Here’s a closer look at what we’re seeing this week.
