THE COMFORT COLLECTIVE A LOOK INSIDE THE BUSINESS FOR OUR LOCAL PARTNERS
Summer is winding down, but the bookings are still coming in. This week’s two-week window is running at 29.3% overall across our portfolio, with Friday and Saturday occupancy reaching 45.7% and 46.3% on August 21 and 22, and 36.9% and 35.1% on August 28 and 29. That shorter booking window is a trend we’ve been watching all season, and it’s showing up consistently across the Fannin County market as well. It’s not a sign of softening demand — the market is tracking at 23.1% for the 90day window, ahead of last year’s 22.5%. Guests are simply deciding later. For local businesses, that means staying ready closer to the date rather than reading the calendar weeks out. The fall buildup is next. October is already shaping up well, and that story will come into clearer focus over the next few weeks.

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS At Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals, we believe a great guest experience goes beyond the cabin itself. From local festivals and leadership events to supporting tourism initiatives throughout the area, we’re proud to stay actively involved in the communities we serve. As we head into the busy season, we’re also looking to strengthen partnerships with local businesses to create added value for our guests while helping drive traffic to our local shops, restaurants, attractions, and experiences. We would love to collaborate on exclusive guest discounts, welcome offers, packages, or featured experiences that help showcase everything our area has to offer. Whether it’s dining specials, adventure packages, shopping promotions, or seasonal experiences, we’re always looking for new ways to connect our guests with local businesses. If you’d be interested in partnering with us, we’d love to hear from you. Email Kat Dye at kat@southerncomfortcabinrentals.com.
