June has arrived, and with it comes one of the strongest visitor periods we’ve seen all year. The next two weeks are shaping up to be the busiest stretch of 2026 so far, with occupancy holding above 35% nearly every day and reaching 52.4% and 49.0% on Friday and Saturday, June 5 and 6.

The momentum continues into the following weekend, with occupancy projected at 48.6% and 43.4% on June 13 and 14. While the overall Fannin County market is tracking even with last year at 23.3%, our performance is running well ahead of that pace.

For local restaurants, shops, attractions, and service providers, this means more visitors exploring Blue Ridge, dining out, shopping local, and looking for memorable mountain experiences. As summer gets underway, the next two weeks present an excellent opportunity to connect with guests and showcase the best of what our community has to offer.
