Welcome to Chateau Althen, a classic North Georgia log cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains designed for groups who want more than just a place to stay. With three full levels of living space, an indoor sauna, a dedicated theater room, a full game room, and a hot tub, the cabin gives every guest space to relax, recharge, or gather together.

Lake Blue Ridge is only a short drive away, while downtown Blue Ridge offers easy access to shopping, dining, breweries, and the scenic railway. And when you’re ready to slow down and stay in, Chateau Althen makes that just as inviting.

Comfortable Living Spaces

The main living spaces at Chateau Althen were designed to feel warm, open, and connected to the surrounding mountains. The entry-level living room anchors the home with a wood-burning fireplace, comfortable seating, and direct access to the outdoor deck, while large windows bring natural light and forest views throughout the space.

An open-concept layout allows the kitchen, dining, and living areas to flow naturally together, creating an easy setting for shared meals, conversation, and relaxed evenings at the cabin.

The Entertainment Level

The lower level is where Chateau Althen really shines for larger groups. A spacious entertainment room, private theater, and indoor sauna create the kind of setup that makes long weekends and multi-day stays feel effortless.

The entertainment room features a second wood-burning fireplace, a wet bar with a wine cooler and full-size refrigerator, and plenty of places to gather, including a pool table, bumper pool table, pub seating, and a card table for six. Just next door, the dedicated theater room offers leather recliners, a 65-inch streaming TV, and a queen pull-out sofa for additional sleeping space. An indoor sauna for eight completes the experience.

Chateau Althen comfortably sleeps up to twelve guests across four bedrooms and multiple levels of private accommodations. The layout balances shared gathering spaces with quieter retreats throughout the home, making it well suited for families, couples, and mixed groups traveling together.

The upper-level primary king suite serves as the home’s private retreat, complete with a balcony, mini coffee bar, workspace, and spa-style bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower. Additional guest rooms include two entry-level full bedrooms and a lower-level bunkroom designed for younger guests or larger family stays.

The outdoor spaces at Chateau Althen were designed to make the most of the surrounding mountain setting across two separate levels of gathering space. The entry-level deck creates a natural place for outdoor meals and slow mornings, while the screened lower deck offers a quieter setting centered around the hot tub and lounge seating.

A separate fire pit area surrounded by wood bench seating extends the outdoor experience even further, creating an easy place for late-night conversation beneath the trees.
