What does the role involve? Being a support worker means that you are integral to the day-to-day lives of the people you support, helping with various activities such as assistance with personal care, jobs around the house, planning and preparing meals and maintaining health and wellbeing. As well as the routine things, you will also support on days out to the park, to the beach, out for lunch and much more – the possibilities are endless.
What do we need from you? You will need to work a variety of shifts as part of a flexible working rota, including some weekends, bank holidays, waking nights and sleep ins where required. Although experience is great, we believe that as long as you are confident, have a good sense of humour and the same values as us, we can provide you with all the training you need to be a brilliant support worke worker.

St Anne's is a 19 bedded, Charity run, residential care home in Burgess Hill and due to internal promotions we are looking to recruit a full time care worker to work 36 hours a week on 2 week fixed rota which will include some shifts on alternate weekends. While we would prefer an experienced Carer, if you are looking to move in to care and have no experience but have a genuine desire to provide care and help for people, we’d love to hear from you. Join us on this interesting trip by vintage steam train to the historic towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury. We travel via Slough, Swindon and the Severn Tunnel, on the South Wales Main Line and the scenic Welsh Marches route. Join us from Slough, Reading, Didcot or Swindon to visit Ludlow or Shrewsbury. There are three classes available on both day trips: Premier Dining includes a full English breakfast and a four course dinner silver served at your seat. First Class includes morning coffee with a muffin, afternoon tea and coffee with a cake and a biscuit. Standard Class includes a reserved seat usually at a table for four.
