Bluebird Care are proud to be partnered with Alzheimer’s Society and continue to support them with our fundraising efforts The team hosted a charity coffee morning at Crayshaw Court in Caversham, a retirement living community where several Bluebird Care customers reside The event offered a warm, welcoming space for residents, families and carers to enjoy coffee, conversation, and homemade bakes All cakes were lovingly made by the Bluebird Care office team, with one standout entry from Sophie, Recruitment and Marketing Coordinator, whose white chocolate and cherry cake sold out in minutes and received glowing 5-star reviews from attendees.

The event raised £200 and was made even more special thanks to Wendy, wife of one of Bluebird Care’s cherished customers, who helped promote the event and encouraged residents to join in. Thanks also went to Donna, Manager of Crayshaw Court, for her kind support and warm invitation to return.

Case Study: Enhancing Lives Through Compassionate Care

In this month's newsletter, we are thrilled to share a heartwarming story that highlights the profound impact of our dedicated live-in care services One of our lovely customers initially benefited from two weekly visits, providing light assistance and companionship Over time, our carer observed subtle changes in the customer's behaviour and memory, prompting a care review and conversation with their family. Through this proactive approach, the customer now has live-in care support, regularly attending local day centres and community groups. This has not only brought them renewed confidence and joy but also enriched their life with meaningful social interactions. This case exemplifies our commitment to adapting our care to meet evolving needs, ensuring our customers lead fulfilling and enriched lives.
