The “My Book” project is a collection of poems, short stories, lyrics and painting. It is a personal testimony about the past and the future of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, all beneficiaries of SolidarityNow. Art awakens memories, heals wounds, breeds emotions, build bridges for connections and it can finally lead to catharsis. “My Book” refutes in a simple way stereotypes and prejudice. This book is dedicated to all those who have found the strength to fill a luggage with all their life’s belongings and make it a new home at the place where they now reside.
