Client request for a Barbie themed room in an elegant resort which would appeal to doll collectors and provide a relaxing getaway with sophisticated and fun furniture, helping create a nostalgic environment for die hard fans.

Throughout this process, I learned how to combine different eras and create a modern atmosphere to avoid the impact of such an important figure like Barbie to be forgotten amongst new generations.

Project 5- Spa Research

Client request for a communal spa with bold, unusual colours which are not typically found in relaxing places inspired by a colorful street in A Coruña, Spain.

I took this photo in A Coruña, Spain.

Octopus sculpture in A Coruña by Javier M Padin- I have used as inspiration for furniture.

Furniture such as the spa table came from the shape of this beach in A Coruña.

Thought about accessibility by having wide entrances to main reception and spa rooms, colorful wave pattern on the floor inspired by sea waves and color pallete from A Coruña streets.

I created something new out of something old, with a past experience which resonates with me personally, I was able to develop and design a functional spa proposition for a project which could benefit others. I learned to embrace my heritage and incorporate it into art in creative ways by being inspired by nature and animals.

Photo of a fruit market I took which I then traced digitally.

I drew fruit individually and turned them into a pattern.

I used the App Planner 5D to create a model school kitchen/dining room where the fruit pattern could be used as a mural and the other digital art as framed artwork to encourage healthy eating in a school environment.
