› Expanded & enhanced the established water-sensitive urban design strategies to integrate with civic facilities and placemaking

› Maximized TOD potential of site to enhance the town centre’s livability and commercial vibrancy while enhancing amenities and public realm focus.

› Lead urban designer/master planner & project/contract manager collaborating with full suite of architects (COX), landscape (Oculus), engineering, environmental, statutory, economics, and property development consultants.

› Broke down silos & synergized cross-faculty analytics to create a comprehensive master plan that integrate education, living, retail/F&B, culture, events, health & wellbeing, facilities reuse/adaptation, and ANU identity & showcasing.

› Lead urban designer/master planner & project manager collaborating with ANU staff to revitalize the University’s core as a destinational precinct for students (19,000), staff (4,000), Canberra residents (470,000), and visitors (5 mil yearly).

› Architect & landscape architect tender review & awarding.

› Developed & final design phase collaboration with architects (BVN) & landscape architects (Aspect).

› Private & public workshop facilitation including with University Council.

› Integrated deep sustainability strategies (embodied carbon, energy, flooding) from masterplanning phase onwards to achieve full life cycle carbon neutrality or better.

› First major greenfields establishment of a new mixed use sustainable metropolitan centre in 21st century New Zealand that is transit-orientated and integrated with Te Aranga Maori design principles for anticipated +20,000 residents and jobs, and commercial services centre for +60,000 residents.

› Informed framework of form-based systems and processes for client’s in-house transition from retail to integrated mixed use portofolio.

› Lead urban designer/master planner & project/contract manager collaborating with full suite of landscape, civil/transport/ infrastructure engineering, environmental, statutory, economics, and property development consultants, as well as Council, central Govt., and iwi/hapu.

› Redefining & initiating redevelopment of major multi-modal transportation routes, connections, and infrastructure upgrades/downgrades.

› Identified & established broader strategic acquisitions for client - cityprovince negotiations.
