Capitol Reef Welcomes New Visitors/ Programs to the Park
CAPITOL REEF N.P. - The parking lots are filled with travelers, orchards are ready to welcome fruit this season, and the days are getting longer. This is the beauty of spring and summer at Capitol Reef National Park. As the park begins to welcome seasonal employees and an influx of visitors, the number of events the park hosts are beginning to increase. At 3 P.M. everyday— whether rain, snow, sun or clouds—a ranger gives a program on their favorite topic related to Capitol Reef. These programs range from geology, petroglyphs, bighorn sheep and the Leave No Trace principles. These talks allow visitors to explore a range of topics and ideas about the history of Capitol Reef and how to
