Teasdale Park Committee Announces Completion of Project, Ribbon Cutting on May 17 TEASDALE - The Teasdale Community Park Committee is pleased to announce the completion of a three-part project, made possible by the Utah Outdoor Recreation Grant (UORG). Capitol Reef Farmers' Market Gears Up for 2025 Season with a New Vision and Community Focus by Amiee Maxwell

The Moony Wash Boys band plays at the Wayne County Farmers' Market in May 2024. Now officially named the Capitol Reef Farmers' Market, the event is moving onto the grass at the Torrey Town Park. The market runs Saturdays from May 24 to October 18, with new hours from 3-5 p.m.
TORREY The Wayne County Farmers' Market is undergoing exciting changes as it enters the 2025 season. With a new name, renewed vision, expanded layout, and new
programs to engage local residents, organizers hope to make the market an important revenue source for local farmers and artisans and a lively gathering space for locals.

Escalante to Celebrate Newly Rebranded Escalante Heritage & Wild Potato Festival, May 30-31 ESCALANTE Jerry Roundy was raised in Escalante and moved away for a career as a history professor. He returned after retiring from teaching at Ricks College and began informing the community about their heritage. He and his wife, Sherrie, started the Escalante Heritage Center, a museum and gift shop where people can watch a video reenacting the Hole-in-the-Rock expedition. He was instrumental in creating a veteran’s memorial in the town park, and he wrote several plays that were performed annually at the Heritage Festival, reenacting significant events that have shaped Escalante's history.
