Support Local Nonprofits During 2026 Give Wayne County WAYNE CO. - Between March 26th and April 4th, four local nonprofit organizations serving Wayne County, Utah, will participate in the annual social media Give Wayne County campaign to raise money for the important work that they do to support the people and animals of this area. Color Country Animal Welfare (CCAW) is dedicated to reducing the number of homeless dogs and cats in the Wayne County region through rescue and adoption, community assistance, and promoting humane animal care. GARFIELD CO. - In the opening March 9 Garfield County Commissioner Board reports: Commissioner David Tebbs said the county’s fire chiefs' were being encouraged to complete the state’s “red card certification” training to be better positioned to receive reimbursement when state fire fighters borrow their equipment. Tebbs reported on Boulder’s new EMTs wanting to re-establish an ambulance in Boulder, currently not possible because procedures require an advanced EMT on the ambulance.
