‘The Pen Is Mightier’ Exhibition Comes to Boulder; Opens July 3 BOULDER - In celebration of the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary, Boulder Arts Council is proud to host “The Pen Is Mightier: Writing a Revolution,” a free traveling exhibition for visitors of all ages. This special event is on display at the Boulder Community Center Gallery from July 3rd to August 15th. GARFIELD CO. The Garfield County Commission met June 22, approved the agenda and June 8 meeting minutes, then moved into board reports. Commissioner Leland Pollock was excused from the meeting. Commissioner Jerry Taylor reported on a recent Five County Association of Governments meeting, saying officials will return in July to discuss restructuring the organization's finances. Taylor also updated commissioners on efforts to establish a dinosaur museum in Garfield County, including discussions with the Natural History Museum of Utah about creating a satellite location. Taylor said he hopes major dinosaur discoveries made in the Kaiparowits region can one day stay in Garfield County

Sevier Coffee Co. has opened a new locatation at 5 N. Main St. in Panguitch. The shop is a second location expansion and a new venture of Mackaben Hospitality Group, a family-based company. The Panguitch location opened its doors June 13th, serving coffees, breakfast and lunch. PANGUITCH - A new coffee shop has opened this month in Panguitch at 5 North Main Street, just in time to catch the summer crowds.
