Hello Smithville Chamber Members and Friends,

Can you believe it’s already June?

The spring season seemed to fly by, and what a wonderful few months it has been for our community. From the Smithville Fly-In and ribbon cuttings to networking events, celebrations, graduations, and community gatherings, it has been exciting to see so many people coming together to support Smithville and all it has to offer.

As we move into summer, there are still plenty of opportunities to connect, engage, and enjoy everything happening in our community. We encourage you to take a look at the upcoming events featured in this eblast and mark your calendars. We look forward to seeing you out and about around town, supporting local businesses, attending events, and making new connections.

A friendly reminder to all of our members: be sure to add your events to the Chamber's online calendar. It’s a great way to increase visibility and help residents and visitors discover what’s happening in Smithville.

One of the easiest ways to strengthen your business is to stay engaged with your community. Customers are more likely to support businesses they know, recognize, and trust.

✅ Attend local events and networking opportunities.

✅ Share updates regularly on social media.

✅ Celebrate milestones, new products, and team accomplishments.

✅ Support fellow local businesses whenever possible.

The relationships you build today can lead to referrals, partnerships, and opportunities tomorrow.

Action Step: Make a goal to attend at least one community or Chamber event this month and introduce yourself to three new people.

Strong businesses build strong communities-and strong communities support strong businesses.
