Hello Smithville Chamber Members and Friends,

Can you believe we're already in July? Summer is flying by, and what an incredible way to kick off the month!

Our community came together to celebrate America's 250th Birthday at the Smithville Texas Main Street Americana 250th Birthday Bash, and it was truly a day to remember. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the many dedicated volunteers, organizers, sponsors, and community members who worked so hard to make this

celebration such a success. Your time, energy, and hometown spirit created a memorable event for residents and visitors alike.

And here's a little Chamber brag we're excited to share that the Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce won 1st Place Golf Cart in the Fourth of July Parade! Woohoo! Thank you to everyone who helped decorate, participate, and cheer us on.

As we move through July, I encourage you to get involved with the Chamber. Our Ambassador Committee welcomes both current and prospective members to join them for their next meeting on Thursday, July 7, at VeraBank in Bastrop. It's a wonderful opportunity to build relationships, learn more about Chamber membership, and become an ambassador for our business community.

We're also inviting everyone to attend the Keep Smithville Beautiful Committee's quarterly meeting on Wednesday, July 15. This committee continues to make a positive impact on our community, and new faces and fresh ideas are always welcome.

Be sure to mark your calendar for our July Chamber Mixer on Thursday, July 16, hosted by VFW Post 1309. Chamber Mixers are a wonderful opportunity to network, strengthen business relationships, and connect with fellow members in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I hope you'll join us!

Don't forget about the many ways the Chamber can help promote your business! Advertising opportunities are still available in the 78957 Smithville Magazine, as well as in our weekly eBlasts and monthly newsletters. These are excellent ways to reach both our local community and visitors while increasing your business's visibility.

We have some exciting announcements about upcoming events just around the corner, so stay tuned! In the meantime, please continue sharing our emails, newsletters, and social media posts with your family, friends, coworkers, and fellow business owners. Every share helps us showcase all the wonderful things happening in Smithville.
