Los Angeles and AEG push ahead on NFL stadium
Developer AEG, last week, advanced its plan to build a football stadium in downtown Los Angeles by formally launching an environmental review process. In a letter sent to Planning Director Michael LoGrande, a representative for Anschutz Entertainment Group said the company this week will submit a "notice of preparation" for its environmental impact statement. The notice will be published March 17, with a scoping meeting set for March 30 to establish the boundaries of the study. "The letter clearly and formally states AEG's plans to begin the procedure of producing a complete environmental impact report as part of the process to develop the L.A. Event Center and Farmers Field," AEG spokesman Michael Roth said. READ MORE
