1. Writing

Chameleon whiteboards are delivered with the TÜV certified Chameleon magnetic mounting system. Magnetic mounting is very easy, and we supply a specified assembly drawing with each custom Chameleon whiteboard wall we sell.

Chameleon quality

The core of the Chameleon range is formed by the whiteboard. A Chameleon whiteboard can be recognized for its quality, which is visible in four ways:

1.Sturdiness:

Chameleon whiteboards are 10 mm thick with a robust, water-repellent MDF core (FSC-certified, see sustainability).

2.Surface:

Chameleon whiteboards feature high-quality magnetic ceramic steel, recognizable by a smooth surface without imperfections. We offer a lifetime warranty on writing and erasing on all ceramic steel surfaces. Below is an overview of our ceramic steel surface options.

3.Finishing:

Chameleon whiteboards are machine-cut and then hand-finished. We pay great attention to the finishing process.

4.Mounting:

Chameleon uses a unique TÜV-certified mounting system that works with magnetic plates.

What is Ceramic steel?

All Chameleon surfaces on this page feature a ceramic steel top layer, which is Cradle to Cradle Bronze certified. This enamel coating is comparable to glass in terms of hardness and smoothness, just as scratch-resistant and with the same long lifespan. Chameleon offers the following ceramic steel surfaces:

SatinTones

SatinTones is a ceramic steel surface with a matte finish. The surface has a calming appearance and is perfectly readable from every viewing angle. In addition, this surface is available in 6 subtle colour tones. SatinTones is a great alternative to glass whiteboards.

 Application: Whiteboard with a low-gloss surface. S200 (Low Gloss) is also suitable for projection

High Gloss

This surface has a high gloss level, though not as high as glass whiteboards. The advantage of the glossy finish is that markings are perfectly visible on it. This makes it ideal for presentations and situations where the content needs to be read from a distance, such as in schools.

Projection

This ultra-matte surface shows no reflections at all. As a result, projection on this board delivers the best possible image quality from projectors. The board is writable, but less easy to erase than other surfaces. When using whiteboard spray during erasing, the board can be cleaned properly.

Chalk

Choosing a chalkboard comes with specific reasons. The most important is that chalk allows you to add nuances by pressing harder or softer. The Chameleon chalkboard surface is made, just like the whiteboard surfaces, from ceramic steel. As a result, Chameleon chalkboards are perfectly erasable for life. The matte surfaces are available in green and grey.

• Make it wall-filling (precisely in millimeters, keeping in mind to allow for some flexibility due to uneven walls).

• Add creative shapes, such as a skyline at the top.

• Include your logo as a cutout with a full-colour print behind it.

• Have a cutout made for a TV screen on or within the whiteboard.

Chameleon glassboard surfaces

Glassboard

Chameleon Glassboards and Glass Walls feature extra-clear, low-iron glass. Unlike standard glass, there is no visible green tint, ensuring that all 18 glassboard colours appear pure and vibrant.

 Material: Tempered safety glass, extra-clear.

 Thickness: 4 mm glass with a 0.4 mm galvanised backing sheet.

 Depth from wall: 5 mm.

 Usage: Panels are dry-erase and magnetic, compatible with glassboard magnets.

 Finish: Edges are ground all around with a matte finish.

 Installation: Panels are mounted to the wall using our certified magnetic mounting system, making it quick and easy to hang straight and join multiple panels.

 Colours: Chameleon Glassboards and Glass Walls are available in 18 colours. The colours are enamelled on the back of the glass (baked-in), preventing any discolouration.

1.9 Sharp Glassboard

Chameleon Sharp Glassboard is a magnetic glass writing board made of extra-clear safety glass. The 18 soft colours (p. 30) complement modern interiors and can be combined with Sharp Acoustics (p. 42–43). Black whiteboard markers are clearly visible on all colours.

9 and 18 mm PET felt

Transform any space into a haven of calm and clarity with acoustic PET felt wall panels. By absorbing echoes and unwanted reflections, they make conversations sound natural and help boost focus and concentration.

1. Application:

The 9 mm PET felt is used for the Sharp, Curve and Creatives Walls, as well as the 9 mm Single Layer Covering. The 18 mm PET felt (2 layers of 9 mm) is used for the Elements and Creative Panels.

2. Material:

Chameleon Acoustics is made from 100% recyclable polyethylene terephthalate (PET), of which more than 50% comes from recycled PET bottles. These materials are processed into a soundabsorbing felt with a soft texture.

3. Thickness and dimensions:

The thickness of the PET felt panels is 9 or 18 mm. The maximum panel size is 120 x 240 cm.

4. Fire resistance:

5. Mounting:

Chameleon Acoustics products can be mounted on the wall in three different ways:

• Magnetic: quick, easy, and removable. The panels (Elements) are simple to install and align with each other.

• With adhesive (not included): preferred for full wall coverage (Walls and Coverings). The initial tack is flexible enough to allow slight adjustment during final panel positioning.

• Velcro: ideal for the smaller Creative Panels; fast and easy.

2.9 Creative V-Layer Panels

Set of four acoustic panels in a fixed size for quickly cladding large walls. The 18 mm V-Layer Panels consist of two layers of 9 mm PET felt, with different colours for the front and back layers. The 18 mm Layer Panels consist of two 9 mm PET-felt layers, with the cut-out pattern of the front layer revealing the back layer for an attractive two-tone or 3D-effect combination. 2.12 Creative Divider Panels

The Divider Panels are made of 18 mm double-layer PET felt (2 × 9 mm) with different colours for the front and back layers. The cut-out pattern runs through both layers, creating a see-through effect for suspended panels. Writing without screws! Chameleon Lean Wall keeps walls intact. This whiteboard wall is composed of one or more panels equipped with a sturdy rubber edge at the top and bottom. This ensures excellent protection for both the wall and the floor while keeping the panels securely in place.

Every component of the Starterkit Deluxe is magnetic. Markers, eraser sprays, and microfiber cloths can be hung anywhere on the whiteboard. For frameless whiteboards (Sharp, Curve), Chameleon offers a transparent design holder for markers as an alternative. This holder can be attached to the bottom of the board using an adhesive strip (this product is not magnetic).

5.2 Starterkit Glassboard

This starter kit includes board magnets that are suitable for glass boards. The magnetic eraser cloth also has a sewn-in glass board magnet. The markers and eraser spray are not magnetic. For these items, a transparent tray is included in the starter kit.
