The SRV Series of cycloidal gearbox, also known as a cycloidal drive or cyclo drive, is a high-performance speed reducer designed for applications requiring high torque density and superior shock-load resistance.
Unlike traditional gear mechanisms, cycloidal gearboxes operate using two gearing systems:
one is a planetary gearing system, and the one is a harmonic gearing system. First motor input drives in planetary gearing for the first reduction, and the planetary's output further goes into harmonic input for the second reduction step. Due to this reduction, the torque increases compared to other gearing systems.
