I’m most grateful for becoming a SMCS man during my four years of high school, as well as the excellent teachers and staff that helped me along the way. I learned goodness, discipline, and knowledge, and the spirit of the Double Blue.

I think the big differentiator for me was a balance between academic rigour and extracurricular athletic activities. I think St. Mike’s does a really fantastic job with a wonderful blend of academics and sport. And for boys, they absolutely need that.
My faith has played a huge role in my life in keeping me level-headed. I pray to God and ask Him for guidance. When I’ve been in my darkest moments, when I have felt that I can’t help myself, it’s nice to know that there’s a higher power looking out for me. I use my faith every day.
JUSTYN KNIGHT '14
It was so amazing to be back in the theatre; the energy was amazing and the students were incredible. The experience has lit a fire in Hayden (as if he needed more). He has been on a high since performing and now intends to take music until Grade 12. I can’t thank you enough.
Over the years I have benefitted from the St. Mike’s community. I am at a stage of my career where I am able to start giving back and I feel like it’s important to do so.
CHRIS SMITH '06

One value that the competition brought was critical thinking and the way you had to respond to tough questions from the judges.
NATHANIEL VOKES '22
This trip did a lot to help my understanding of the Italian language because our chef and teacher spoke mainly in Italian. This challenged us to practice our vocabulary and learn how to talk in a casual setting.
JAMES SIMONE, GRADE 10

WORDS
Safety was the key thing. Physically safe, but also psychologically safe. Everybody should bring their full selves to school and feel welcome.
