PHILOSOPHY FORUM

THURS APRIL 9TH, 6:30 PM

We’re all about “philosophizing,” learning about philosophy, enjoying how we can think together, and collegiality! We typically begin with an “icebreaker” topic to set the tone for a moderated, creative discussion- leading into our evening’s Forum. These aren’t debates, and the purpose is not to find consensus, but rather to revel in the questions. The spirit of philosophy is in addressing the “why” of its subjects; by doing so, we begin to search for reason and meaning. Plato famously said, “The unexamined life is not worth living.”
