We don’t often host events in this region, so thank you for attending!

Day of Schedule 11:00 am – 12:00 pm: Registration & Lunch 12:00 pm – 1:15 pm: Session 1: Employment Law Update Anthony DeMaria, Trial Attorney, DeMaria Law Firm This session will review recent trends being seen with respect to employment liability suits being presented against public entities. Suits continue to center on discrimination claims related to gender and race. We will review the administrative processes that a public entity goes through in response to these claims or suits. Mr. DeMaria is an experienced litigator and has worked with multiple public agencies throughout the State of California defending employment discrimination cases for over 25 years. 1:15 pm – 1:30 pm: Break 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm: Session 2: Digital Accessibility Planning: Practical Methodologies and Next Steps for Improved Accessibility and Compliance Tim Mahoney, General Manager, Disability Access Consultants, LLC This interactive session follows the December 2025 ADA Website and Mobile App Accessibility roundtable. It focuses on practical methods, tools, and planning to improve accessibility in web content, documents, and mobile apps. Presenter Tim Mahoney will review accessibility deadlines, provide short- and long-term planning options, and offer guidance on tools and technology. He will also discuss current and future agreements with software and website vendors.
