We’re so glad you’ve joined us at Saint Michael today. We’d love to get to know you better, so please take a moment to fill out the welcome card, either physically or digitally, that can be found on this page or in the pew back in front of you. Our Welcome Team members are in the hallways today to help you with anything you need. Today we celebrate the Grand Opening and Dedication of our new building! We will host a special dedication at the 10 a.m. hour with a ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by food, fellowship, and fun that will continue through lunch in the atrium and the plaza. Everyone is welcome, so please stay to celebrate with us. Please make sure you pick up a Sunday News handout this morning. It details lots of extra programs between Sundays, such as the new season of Weekday Meditations. As we emphasize the importance of prayer this year, these meditations are an excellent way to incorporate prayer as a regular part of your day. Thousands have been listening, so why not join them. As we prepare to worship together, I invite you to take a moment and center yourself on God’s presence. Worshiping, learning, and giving together help us grow closer to who God created us to be, and you’re part of that work. May God bless you today and every day, and I hope to see you again very soon!

Louis Vierne's Carillon de Westminster (1927) transforms the famous chimes of Big Ben in London into a thrilling toccata. Dedicated to English organ builder Henry Willis, this piece takes the listener from a quiet whisper to full organ with a brilliant toccata crowning the thundering pedal line. The Nicene Creed (standing) All We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. Hubert Parry's jubilant anthem captures King David's perspective after being called to worship in Jerusalem. A double-choir section text-paints the building of Jerusalem, layering voices and gathering momentum as each choir echoes the other. The gentle semi-chorus calling for peace is thunderously reinforced by the full choir at the close. Originally written for the coronation of King Edward VII in 1902, the anthem has been used in every coronation since. 7
