VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: SAVE THE DATE June 8 – 11 | Registration Opens February 1
Join us for the brightest week of the year at this summer’s Vacation Bible School, Illumination Station! While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are in the dark about who He really is. During VBS kids will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals. We invite all children ages 4 (as of September 1, 2026) through upcoming 5th graders to join us for a fun week.

JUBILEE PARK SPRING BOOK BUDDIES A 30-minute commitment once-a-week Monday – Friday | 4:30 – 5 p.m. or 5 – 5:30 p.m.
Join Jubilee Park as a tutor this winter for its reading support program, Book Buddies, focused on providing additional reading instruction to students with the greatest need. Volunteers will spend 30 minutes once a week reading with their Book Buddy from January until Summer break. 15 to 30 tutors are needed.
FOSTER ELEMENTARY TUTORING

Come be a part of our ministry at Stephen C. Foster Elementary School! We will resume tutoring students in kindergarten through 5th grade at Foster in January. As a tutor, you will support students in foundational education skills–particularly reading. The ability to speak Spanish is not required, but dual language tutors are needed. Scheduling is flexible throughout the school day; however, we would like volunteers to commit to a time slot one day a week as you will be assigned specific students. Sign up online!
PROJECT MOSES NEW BEGINNINGS COLLECTION Now – January 25
In honor of Human Trafficking Awareness Month, Project Moses invites you to support survivors of human trafficking through our New Beginnings Collection Drive. We are collecting the following essential items: Individually wrapped snacks, fleece throw blanket, winter hats & gloves for women, girls, and boys, full-size personal hygiene items (greatest needs are shampoo, body wash, or deodorant), new women’s fuzzy socks or men’s sport socks, etc. Donate easily via our Amazon Wish List — items can be shipped directly to: 4344 Colgate Avenue, Dallas, TX 75225 Additional drop-off locations are outside the Church and Chapel on Sundays, or at the West Entrance during weekday hours.
