Dear friends, welcome to Saint Michael! We hope you are enjoying the new building. Sunday School for all ages resumes today at 10 a.m. To get to Sunday School, most people will use the new connector by the Parish Hall. For mobility-impaired individuals, there is a lift as you approach the connector, or you may use the school elevator on the first floor. Families of young children will check into Sunday school using the kiosks in the second-floor connector, youth will walk straight into the Youth Center and check in using the iPads, and adult classes will be held on the north end of the hallway. Adults will register for classes and check-in by using the Saint Michael app at saintmichael.org/campusmaps. In adult Sunday School today, Ken Brannon and Carrie Headington are beginning a 3-part series on evangelism, Chris Girata is leading the Parent’s Class, and Tim Smith is starting a deep dive into Romans. Whichever service you attend today, be sure to make 10 a.m. classes a part of your Sunday routine!

The Lord be with you. And also with you. Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give God thanks and praise.

All baptized persons of any age regardless of their denomination and tradition are welcome to share in the banquet of the Lord’s Supper.

The Celebrant prays the preface of the day.

Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.

The Celebrant now praises God for the salvation of the world through Jesus Christ our Lord.

On the night he was betrayed he took bread, said the blessing, broke the bread, and gave it to his friends, and said, “Take, eat: This is my Body, which is given for you. Do this to remember me.”

At the following words concerning the bread, the Celebrant is to hold it, or to lay a hand upon it; and at the words concerning the cup, to hold or place a hand upon the cup and any other vessel containing wine to be consecrated.

After supper, he took the cup of wine, gave thanks, and said, “Drink this, all of you: This is my Blood of the new Covenant, which is shed for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins. Whenever you drink it, do this to remember me.”

Therefore we proclaim they mystery of faith: Celebrant and People Christ has died. Christ is risen. Christ will come again. Father, we now celebrate the memorial of your Son. By means of this holy bread and cup, we show forth the sacrifice of his death, and proclaim his resurrection, until he comes again. And so, Father, we bring you these gifts. Sanctify them by your Holy Spirit to be for your people the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ our Lord. Gather us by this Holy Communion into one body in your Son Jesus Christ. Make us a living sacrifice of praise. By him, and with him, and in him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit all honor and glory is yours, Almighty Father, now and for ever. AMEN. And now, as our Savior Christ has taught us, we are bold to say,
