Celebrating a Sold-Out Success

SkyRidge continues to elevate everyday living with the overwhelming success of its second distinctive neighbourhood precinct - Botanica.

It is thrilling to announce that Stage 10 and 11 of this brand new community, with the highest elevations released to date, have officially sold out. From the carefully considered master plan to the final sale of allotments in this newest neighbourhood, these two stages generated strong interest from purchasers ready to “move up” to a new way of living.

One of the standout characteristics of SkyRidge’s newest neighbourhood has been the elevated blocks, providing

optimal views of the majestic Gold Coast spanning from Burleigh to the untouched Spit. With the increase in elevation, buyers have options to embrace the land’s natural contours, and maximise the stunning views, natural sunlight and cooling breezes.

Following in the footsteps of SkyRidge’s first neighbourhood, the Ascent, the bike paths, open spaces, walking trails, and parks, invite neighbours to connect. Botanica thoughtfully combines serenity and activity with modern living.

With Stage 10 and 11 Botanica land settlements due soon, it is anticipated that construction of new homes will start in the first quarter of the year.

Residents in the neighbouring community, the Ascent, are buzzing with excitement as Botanica prepares to take its first breath.

To everyone who secured an allotment in Botanica’s first releases – Congratulations! To those eagerly awaiting to move up to a new way of living – stay tuned! There are still more stages in this exceptional neighbourhood to come.

Project Director’s Update

As the new year begins, we’re proud to reflect on some of our standout moments from 2025. Firstly, we are thrilled to have achieved a key milestone, with all 139 allotments in the first stages of our newest precinct, Botanica, selling out.

On the construction front, three of our SkyRidge HomeShow builders celebrated a win with prestigious Master Builders Queensland Housing and Construction Awards, honouring their dedication to master craftsmanship.

We also made headlines this year with a landmark $1M sale for one SkyRidge estate allotment, highlighting the growing interest in our most sought after elevated address.

In November, we opened the much awaited, Lorikeet Park. With expansive green spaces and unique features, this park will bring neighbours together for years to come.

As we move into the new year, we thank our staff, partners and clients for their dedication and support, and look forward to what the year ahead will bring.

LORIKEET PARK IS OPEN – LET’S GO!

Friday, 21 November 2025, was the day SkyRidge residents had been waiting for – Lorikeet Park finally threw open its gates to celebrate the opening of this much awaited $11M mega recreational wonderland.

From early in the morning, the air buzzed as people gathered in SkyRidge for the official opening. With construction starting in May 2021, the time had finally arrived.

The City of Gold Coast Mayor, Tom Tate, performed the opening ceremony to a sea of beaming faces.

You can come here and get to know your neighbours…

The Mayor telling Channel 9 News, describing the opening of the park as being “. . . good timing because we want young communities to live in their dream home”.

Other well-known City of Gold Coast council dignitaries including Alisha Swain (EGM) and Cr Glenn Tozer, were in attendance to mark this momentous occasion; and witness the unveiling of the commemorative plaque and giant lorikeet sculpture spreading its wings over the junior playground fort.

Celebrations continued well into the evening with a movie night held exclusively for SkyRidge residents in the new park amphitheatre. With around 385 neighbours all snuggling together to watch the big screen to a backdrop of stars in the Gold Coast night sky.

A Win for Community!

The grand public opening held the next morning on Saturday, 22 November 2025, did not disappoint, with approximately 2,000 people enjoying everything Lorikeet Park has to offer.

Lorikeet Park came alive with laughter that drifted down the landscaped SkyRidge streets, the aroma of street food and sound of live music filled the air; and the onsite face painters transformed children into magical beings.

The mega-playground areas with forts, slides, trampolines, water pumps, double-cable flying fox and climbing tower left the children awestruck and their smiles said it all. While adults challenged themselves with the stair climb or threw some snags on the new onsite BBQs with neighbours. Lorikeet Park even remembered the four-legged family members, who gave their bark of approval as they zipped around the off-lead dog park.

More than just the centrepiece of SkyRidge, Lorikeet Park is a true community contribution – A place destined to bring Gold Coasters and visitors together for years to come. Having this magnificent park right in their very own backyard is just another reason people are choosing to “move up” to SkyRidge.

Why SkyRidge? From

Our Residents

When Broc and Kate Greenhalgh were searching for their new family home, easy highway access was essential for Broc’s work commute. “Working up and down the highway, I needed somewhere central”, he explains. “Being close to family in the area was important too.”

What sealed the decision was everything SkyRidge offered at their doorstep. “The proximity to everything being central Gold Coast, the parks throughout the estate, and the future retail and medical precinct really caught our eye”, Kate shares. As an outdoorsy family, the walking trails and stair climb were particularly appealing.

They chose a uniquely shaped block with a narrow frontage opening to a wider rear boundary. Working with Neptune, they custom designed their home to maximise the land’s potential. “We wanted space within the home, plus a yard and swimming pool for the boys,” they add.

Their advice for others? “We compared building versus buying established and found building new offered better value. You can design a home that suits your family’s needs.” They recommend researching different builders and considering what spaces your family will actually use. Due to move into their new home in March 2026, the Greenhalgh’s are excited about the lifestyle ahead. “Having everything we wanted made SkyRidge the perfect choice.”

Ahead of the Curve: 2026 Design Trends

The SkyRidge Team sat down with Neptune Homes, Envision Studio Manager Morgan Gutsell to get the inside knowledge on design trends, tips and tricks for 2026.

What colour and styling trends should we expect to see in 2026?

Customers are valuing higher quality finishes that are built to last, rather than choosing something temporary and planning to change it later. We’re seeing many clients leaning towards neutral palettes with softer colours that can adapt easily as trends evolve.

Are you seeing any emerging materials or finishes gaining popularity?

Clients are leaning into using more colour, including gorgeous, coloured tiles and joinery in new homes with blue and green still being strong favourites. Handmade and unique items are increasingly being used in new homes as well.

What design philosophies are influencing 2026 aesthetics?

Mediterranean remains the largest influences on our clients – particularly those opting for more of a coastal palette. Queensland’s amazing climate pairs perfectly with the Mediterranean

design, we love seamless indoor/ outdoor living, bright open spaces, and lots of natural looking materials. Some people are influenced by the Japandi design philosophy which leans into neutral earthy tones and colours, use of natural materials and an emphasis on natural light.

What trends are you seeing in kitchen and bathroom design for 2026?

We are still seeing a lot of curves and arches. Our clients have been loving arched mirrors, and soft curves in vanities. Curved joinery in the kitchen is another favourite,
