A senior pre-season tournament with time for team building

Annliz Cup 2026 is a handball tournament for senior elite teams in Skövde.

The tournament runs over four days in a pleasant and intense cup atmosphere.

The winner receives the honor of winning plus a 10 000 SEK winners bonus .

As part of the stay in Skövde, the schedule includes one free day, which provides plenty of time for the team’s own team-building activities, shared experiences, or pure relaxation – we have built that space into the programme.

Are you ready?

For the 14th year in a row Skövde HF are arranging Annliz Cup.

Annliz Cup has grown to become one of the most appreciated tournaments among both teams and spectators. Last year, we broke all records with over 1,200 spectators every match day and a fanzone that was packed and loved by everyone – a real party atmosphere both inside the arena and outside!

Fanzone

Outside Skövde Idrottshall we have a food court where the teams eat along with the spectators.

A giant LED-screen shows the on going matches inside of the arena so you won’t miss any matches.

Since 2019 we have offered this enviroment to the spectators who loves the posibility to have a beer and watch exciting handball matches.

2026!

In previous years, we had a very tight match schedule and therefore could not offer 3 timeouts and 15-minute half-time breaks. Fortunately, we can do that this year.

At the same time, we now have brand-new, modern changing rooms, which make the experience even better.

Extra training or fun activity

We have access to four handball arenas and two modern gyms, where you can freely book extra training sessions for your team.

If you’d like to do something completely different on your free day – for example, a fun team-building activity – we’re happy to arrange that for you too!

Close, simple and efficient

Skövde is a small town of ~60 000 inhabitants. This makes the stay be very simple for the team. Most activitites can be reached by walking and on longer travels we can offer mini-busses.

Food from catering business – superb quality food

Our partner cooks the food our player likes. We develop the menu toghether with our partner and makes sure it is of the best quality. Of cours, we can offer special food for those who needs this. 2023 the food got a 5 star rating from participant teams.

High-Quality Referees

We invite high-quality referees to officiate at the Annliz Cup SuperElit. The referees officiate in the Swedish Handball League or the 1st Division. We aim to provide the teams with the best possible match experience, where high-quality referees are a prerequisite.

Perfect accomodation

Our cooperation with Hotell Billingehus gives so much more than just a place to sleep. Conference rooms are included in the offer and can be booked without charge. Outside the hotel there´s a fantastic recreation area famous al over Sweden. We can assure you will not be dissapointed with your stay at Billingen.

3 High quality matches

We offer you 3 high quality matches in Skövde Idrottshall where the match feeling is really something special. Our aim is to have teams from Denmark, Norway and Sweden. No match agains a team from you country except the placement match.

Arrival around lunchtime on Thursday, August 6 at approximately 12:00 Departure on Sunday, August 9 at around 15:00
