During our morning announcements, Principal Sills reminds the school community to give our personal best for the day. For students, we know this is a call for respectfulness, attentiveness, and their top effort Giving their personal best requires students to be generous of themselves. When students and teachers respond to this daily call with generosity of self, our classrooms are transformed into vibrant, engaged settings for learning.
Our personal best is, after all, the peak of what we can offer, and it is precisely what we were created to give Living our personal best means living as generously as possible - demonstrating generosity of time, attention, caring, and doing.

The 1872 Fund

THE 1872 FUND IS A FORCE MULTIPLIER
at St. Joseph’s Catholic School. This fund is responsible for keeping tuition rates affordable, teacher pay competitive, facilities updated, HASA events supported, and unexpected expenses (like, say, a high utility bill) managed. The 1872 Fund supports facilities projects, time sensitive repairs, campus improvements, and much more
Current families support the 1872 Fund when they make donations related to sports, clubs, and HASA events. We all can make direct gifts to the 1872 Fund throughout the year St Joseph’s Catholic School relies on these gifts to make our strategic priorities a reality for students today

THE LEGACY ENDOWMENT
SECURES OUR FUTURE by providing financial security for SJS. Donations to the Legacy Endowment are invested in full, and this investment grows over time. The annual interest earned from the Legacy Endowment serves as a stable and predictable source of revenue for St Joseph’s Catholic School each year The interest earned is used to support operational priorities and tuition assistance each year while the principal balance remains invested and untouched.
