FROM THE HEAD TEACHER At St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, we are proud to be a vibrant, high-achieving Catholic school at the heart of our community. Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, we are committed to developing the ‘whole child’ within a kind, supportive and inclusive environment where every pupil is encouraged to grow academically, spiritually and personally. United by faith, we celebrate the many cultures within our school community and encourage all children to share, grow and flourish in faith and love. We guide each pupil on their own educational journey, helping them to become confident, compassionate and responsible members of society who are prepared for the next stage of their lives. Today, the government funding we receive does not fully cover the costs of providing the enriched curriculum, pastoral support and inspiring school environment that define life at St Joseph’s. As the gap between funding and the needs of our pupils continues to grow, we rely on the generosity of our community to help bridge this gap through the It Takes a Village Fund. Thanks to the support of families and friends, we have been able to contribute towards essential improvements and resources across the school. Recent fundraising has supported bids for important roof repairs and boiler works, helping us maintain a safe, warm and welcoming environment for all pupils. Donations have also helped provide additional learning resources, particularly within music, giving children more opportunities to develop creativity, confidence and a love of the arts. None of this would be possible without our community. During your family’s time here, we hope that you will support the It Takes a Village Fund, either with a one-off annual gift or a regular monthly donation.
