The South Jordan Senior Advisory Committee is dedicated to helping promote the interests of older adults and caregivers in the community by partnering with Senior Programs to provide a creative and informational environment where older people can engage in social activities by sustaining and improving the quality of health, well-being and safety and by supporting the fulfillment of older adult needs in the community

January Topic: “Create a Life Worth Living” Depression is very common amongst Americans today. Come learn ways we can take action in our lives and beat depression in our later years. see page 3 for future topics
VITAL AGING CLASS Prioritizing mental health is important and we want to support your efforts! The Vital Aging class is a collaboration between Valley Behavioral Health Services and senior centers. It is designed to empower older adults by teaching necessary skills to take action and make lasting changes and to lead more active and rewarding lives. It promotes creative adaptation to aging through wellness education and group discussion. It is lead by Jesse, a licensed behavioral health therapist, and meets every Monday at 11:00 AM.
