Transfer Admission Requirements
Our Mission
Students who have attempted at least 30 semester hours post high school graduation at regionally accredited institutions are admissible if they have earned a cumulative 2.0 GPA. Students who have attempted fewer than 30 semester hours are admitted if they meet the current first-year student admission requirements. Students can apply online at siue.edu/apply.

Transfer Advising and Registration Upon admission to SIUE, all students are required to meet with an academic advisor. We encourage students to attend Transfer Orientation, which includes academic advising. If students are unable to participate in the program, they can schedule an advising appointment by contacting the Office of Academic Advising.
