1. Create an account.

If this is your first time registering for a membership, trip or non-credit course online, you must create an account.

• Goto:https://www.enrole.com/siue/

• Clickon“SignIn/CreateAcct”intheleftnavigationmenu.

• Select“CreateAccount”andproceedtoenteryourinformation.

• Besuretoselect“Yes”toreceiveemailsandmailingsfromus with information about upcoming programs.

• Also,youwillwanttoselect“Individuals”beforeclicking “Submit” at the bottom of the page.

2. Add items to your cart.

Afteryouhavecreatedanaccountorloggedin,usethenavigation on the left to select which category/courses/memberships/trips you want toadd to your cart. Once you find the item you want toadd, click “AddtoCart.”

Thiscoursewillfulfillmunicipaloperationsworkers’educationand trainingrequirementstosupportourregion’sstormwatermunicipal separatestormsystem(MS4)permitrequirements.With20years of experience, the course leaders will providean overview of applicablestormwaterregulations.Participantswilllearnabout potentialsourcesofstormwatercontaminationandwaystominimize the waterquality impact of municipal activities, such as park andopenspacemaintenance,fleetandbuildingspace maintenance,constructionandlanddisturbances,andstorm drain system maintenance. This course will provide insight and tips into the three main componentsofgrants. Water Quality Control Operations Program

PROGRAM

TheSIUEEnvironmentalResourcesTrainingCenter(ERTC)WaterQualityControlOperationsProgramisaone-year,full-timeprogramof study leading to a certificate of completion. Classes meet Tuesday-Friday for nine months starting in mid-August each year. During the summer,studentscompletea10-weekinternshipprogramwheretheyworkfiveweeksatadrinkingwatertreatmentplantandfiveweeks atawastewatertreatmentplant.

Upon completionofthefull-yearprogram,studentsarequalifiedtoenterthewaterandwastewaterindustryaswateroperators,wastewater operators,distribution/collectionworkers,laboratorytechnicians,ormaintenanceworkersallforlessthan$10,000.
