SUMMER 2016
ADULT EDUCATION COURSE GUIDE
WWW.SJD.AC.UK
Welcome to
Sir John Deane’s Welcome to Sir John Deane’s Adult Education Summer 2016 prospectus! We had our first Mindfulness day last term and it proved to be extremely popular with excellent feedback. For those of you that were unable to secure a place on this oversubscribed course please make a note that we are running it again this term. Mindfulness is the theme of our summer with further courses including ‘Mindfulness in Photography’ and ‘Tangling for Mindfulness’ – one I am particularly keen on trying for myself. As always, our prospectus contains a great range of diverse courses for both evenings and
Saturdays – from computing and dance to leisure, lifestyle, business and languages. We have further new courses including Essential Navigation and Seamanship and a ‘Dolly Mixtures’ sewing course making different useful objects for the home each week. We do hope you are tempted to come along and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and facilities at SJD – and join great adult students who make up our college community. I do hope you enjoy browsing the brochure and keep an eye out for those courses that are new to our College.
