The second largest island on the Isles of Scilly is best known for its flourishing world-class botanical garden set against the ruins of a Benedictine priory and filled with 20,000 exotic plant species from more than 80 countries. The island is replete with sprawling, white sand beaches and historic ruins dating back to the English Civil War. Topped with plenty of eateries and a relaxing spa – it’s the island that has it all. It might be the smallest island in the archipelago, but it packs a punch for things to do and see. Nestled between Tresco and uninhabited Samson, it boasts a handful of eateries, galleries, a phone box museum, and some of the best views on Scilly! Enjoy exploring the rugged granite clifftops to the north before relaxing on the sheltered sandy coves to the south.

EAT UP! It doesn’t come fresher! Sample the finest seafood at the pub, deli shop, café and Hell Bay Hotel. And the many honesty stalls will keep you fuelled for a day’s exploration.
