Neil Lofting BSc(Hons) MRICS MCABE MEWI Director Chartered Building Surveyor Chartered Building Engineer Neil Lofting is a Chartered Building Surveyor and owner of West One Surveyors. He has over 30 years of experience in building surveying and construction and with over 20 years as a Chartered Surveyor . On leaving school, Neil studied for a National Diploma in building Studies at South Kent College and then went on to study for a Higher National Diploma in Construction at Canterbury College. He completed his formal education with a degree in Building Surveying, awarded by The University of Greenwich in 1999 and became a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2002.
Neil has worked for a variety of companies, from small local practices to global companies, with his two most recent appointment prior to setting up West One Surveyors being an Associate Director in the West End multi disciplinary practice Hartnell Taylor Cook and as a Chartered Building Surveyor with global Loss Adjusters Cunningham Lindsey. Neil Then went on to set up West One Surveyors in 2011. He has worked on a variety of building types from historic properties through to multi storey buildings of modern construction, and across a variety of sectors including residential, education, commercial, retail and industrial
