CELEBRATING 15 YEARS OF BROADREACH MARINE
What we do Broadreach Marine provides turn key technical solutions to ship owners. Launched in 2010, we have had many years of success in the marine industry and have 15 years of success and development by opening a South Korean office in 2017. Operating as Broadreach Marine Technical Consultants & Marine Surveyors we provide full Plan Approval, Project Management, Marine Training and Technical Authorship, HSE and Quality Auditing and Risk Assessments. We have a unique network of consultants from both Asia and Europe who, through their extensive experience in the industry, can provide high quality and cost-effective solutions to our clients. We also run independent, bespoke training courses and write technical papers and books for the marine industry. Peter Broad CEng CMarEng, FIMarEST, FIIMS, Member of the Baltic Exchange Expert Witness Association CEO and Managing Director 35 years shipping industry experience has provided me with huge diversity of knowledge across all parts of the industry. Sailing as Chief Engineer, working as a Shiprepair Manager, working as a Superintendent and then for Lloyd’s Register and DNV as a Principal Surveyor and with the Salvage Association, has enabled me to experience many technical and business aspects of the shipping world. Since 2002 I have been Project Managing marine new builds in Asia - Japan, Philippines, South Korea and Vietnam. I have worked from the UK to the Middle East and to Asia.
