Silverdale Baptist Academy’s loyal and generous donors- parents, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni, board members, faculty and staff, and friends of the school - enable us to carry out the Silverdale mission and fulfill the promise of our Academy.
Our educational program is extraordinary. To sustain and build on that excellence requires significant, ongoing support. Our Academy community’s philanthropic investments make a big difference in the quality of a Silverdale education. Gifts are tax-deductible, carefully stewarded, and sincerely appreciated, from each generation to the next. In this portfolio, you will find several areas to consider when giving to the Academy.
THE SBA FUND
Gifts to the SBAFund touch every corner of campus— from the classroom to the athletic field—ensuring our program operates in excellence for years to come. Your generous donations acknowledge the great work being done every day by our faculty and staff, ensuring they are well supported through compensation and benefits, as well as through professional development and innovative programs that help them educate our children effectively.
The SBAFund provides critical operating support that allows us to go beyond what tuition affords and further invest in programs and priorities that create an exceptional educational experience. While tuition income is carefully budgeted to meet the needs of the upcoming year, this support helps us to cover the difference between the actual cost of a Silverdale education and what is covered by tuition. Every part of our campus is strengthened through gifts to the SBAFund while ensuring that the Silverdale experience is distinctive and accessible to all.

THE ARTS
This gift supports the continued excellence and growth of our Arts programs, which allow students to explore their own creativity and express themselves with confidence through exposure to the Visual Arts, Performing Arts, and Literary Arts.
The arts are an essential part of nurturing creativity and confidence in our Silverdale students. From the first notes in the elementary music room to the final bow on the Creekside Theater stage, each experience allows students to discover and share the gifts God has placed within them. Continued investment in our Arts programs helps us provide the tools and resources that bring their talents to life - such as Sonor Orff and Orff Global Beat instruments for our youngest musicians, a new baritone saxophone and timpani for our growing band, a portable marley floor to support our dance program, updated CYC lighting and stage lighting in the Creekside Theater, and improved band instrument storage to care for these valuable resources. With your partnership, we can continue to cultivate an environment where students create, perform, and glorify God through the arts.
STEAM
Our STEAM program inspires students to imagine, create, and innovate, providing hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and build real-world skills. We are seeking support for essential tools and resources, including welding equipment, drill presses, and a plasma cutter for the “dirty” side of the STEAM lab, a 3D printer for the “clean” side, and in our separate Culinary Kitchen, a KitchenAid mixer, attachments, and a kitchen torch set. These items represent just a portion of our STEAM wish list, and with your generous partnership, we can continue to provide the tools and resources that allow students to experiment and problem-solve, while preparing them for a future full of possibilities.

CULINARY ARTS
Our Culinary Arts program equips students with real-world skills as they explore the art and science of cooking. Support is needed for updated kitchen equipment, specialty tools, and instructional resources that give students hands-on experience while helping them cultivate creativity and confidence in the kitchen.

OUTDOOR EDUCATION
At Silverdale, Outdoor Education provides students with hands-on experiences that cultivate curiosity, stewardship, and a love for God’s creation. Whether playing in the creek or planting vegetables, students grow in confidence and character while engaging with the world around them. Continued support allows us to enhance these outdoor learning opportunities by providing a passenger van to transport students on field trips, chickens and a hammock garden to enrich our outdoor spaces, and the tools necessary to care for and maintain our outdoor zones. With your partnership, we can continue to inspire students to explore, learn, and appreciate the beauty and complexity of God’s creation.
ATHLETICS
The Athletics program at Silverdale provides students opportunities to grow in character, teamwork, and perseverance while celebrating the joy of competition. To enhance these experiences, we are seeking support for key additions to our athletic programs, including home bleachers with box seating, a press box to elevate our game-day experience, a new Seymour mascot suit to inspire school spirit, and a golf simulator to expand training opportunities.

NEED-BASED FINANCIAL AID
This gift provides access to a broad range of students with the goal of increasing diversity and retaining deserving students who demonstrate high academic achievement, citizenship, leadership, service to others, and financial need. This gift reaffirms Silverdale’s history of providing education to all, regardless of background.
UNRESTRICTED NEEDS

DIVERSITY INITIATIVE
We strive to create an inclusive environment where students from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to learn from, with, and about one another. Our students are part of a community where beliefs—be they cultural, ethnic, or religious—are both supported and challenged.
We are committed to the belief that all students’ critical thinking skills are enhanced in an environment that is racially, ethnically, culturally, religiously, and socio-economically diverse. We seek to provide an academic curriculum that reflects a global yet biblical perspective.
In the classroom, in co-curricular activities, and through our student life program. Students are given the opportunity to explore and appreciate the perspectives and identities of others as well as their own.
Providing funds for our Diversity Initiative provides training for all our faculty and staff, along with the opportunities for our students to attend conferences to empower them to become world changers.
