As we continue to grow the game here at Silverdale, we’d like to invite your athlete to attend our Seahawks Youth Football Camp. This camp is designed to help young athletes build the fundamentals, football IQ, and confidence needed to enjoy and succeed in the game.
More importantly, football at Silverdale is a platform for transformation. We believe athletics should help students discover who they are and begin to live out their God-given purpose. Our program is about more than wins and losses—it’s about developing character, deepening faith, and preparing young people to impact the world around them. Campers will explore the beauty and diversity of God’s creation across our spacious SBA campus from the winding Friar Branch Creek to our “Bamboo Forest.” Campers will engage in handson discovery as they learn about the natural world God has created. They will learn about native pollinators in our gardens, a myriad of creatures that call our creek home, and many other wonders of creation through outdoor exploration. Camp will be held outdoors, rain or shine, so campers should come ready to explore, get a little dirty, and possibly even wet as they grow in wonder, curiosity, and appreciation for God’s creation.

Join Mrs. Lauren Kowal, SBA 3rd grade teacher, as she combines her love of crafts and games to bring you Camp Create & Play. This is the perfect place for campers who love hands-on crafts, exciting card games, and time with friends. Each day is filled with joyful play, creative projects, and simple Bible truths that remind us we are wonderfully made by God. Come laugh, create, and play while growing your faith— Camp Create & Play is where summer fun and faith come together!
Campers should wear comfortable play clothes and tennis shoes so they are ready for games, crafts, and lots of movement. On Thursday only, campers are invited to bring their favorite board game to share with friends for a special game day. We can’t wait for a fun and active week together!

Dive into the wonders of the deep! Campers will participate in a variety of ocean-themed activities, games, and crafts in this fun filled week at Ocean Adventures Camp. Through daily hands-on experiences, we will learn about fish, fascinating sea creatures, and other life under the sea —while celebrating the beauty and creativity of God’s amazing creation. In addition, campers will participate in a special in-house field trip where they’ll get up close and personal with some unique creatures and learn how we can care for God’s creation. Don’t miss out on this exciting camp—it promises to be an ocean of fun!

Culinary Adventures Camp is a fun, handson experience where campers learn to cook delicious dishes from all around the world! Through engaging activities and interactive lessons, students will explore global cultures, flavors, and traditions while building real cooking skills. Not only will campers learn how to prepare a variety of foods, but they will also explore nutrition, kitchen safety, teamwork, and creativity in the kitchen. Each day is filled with exciting recipes, tasty discoveries, and confidence building experiences that make learning to cook both educational and fun!

All young ladies should grasp the fundamentals of good manners. What could be more delightful than learning through a princess tea party? Throughout the week, we will focus on mastering introductions, setting the table, and enhancing our princess skills. Additionally, each princess will engage in craft activities to prepare for our tea party.
On Friday, we will host a royal tea party to celebrate all the skills we’ve acquired during the week. Princesses can wear a princess dress or tea party attire if they’d like and will be treated to tea, fruit, chicken nuggets, and cupcakes.

Summertime STEAM Camp invites campers to explore, create, and discover while celebrating the joy of learning and the wonders of Creation. Through hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, creative design, and problem-solving activities, campers will use their curiosity and imagination to learn in fun and meaningful ways.
With a balance of teamwork, creativity, and summer-style fun, students will be encouraged to try new ideas, ask big questions, and use their God-given gifts to explore the world around them.

Adventure. Friendship. Faith. Get ready for a week you’ll never forget! At S.O.A.R. Camp students will dive into outdoor adventures that inspire confidence, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation for God’s amazing creation. Activities may include hiking, outdoor rock climbing, caving, kayaking, and more.
All skill levels are welcome! SOAR Camp is about stepping outside your comfort zone, growing in faith, and discovering the joy of God’s world—one adventure at a time. Come join us as we make new friends, explore new places, and experience creation in a whole new way!

Come explore music through the beauty of God’s creation! Young campers will sing, move, and create as they discover how sounds and rhythms can be made using natural and upcycled materials. Together, they will craft simple musical instruments designed especially for outdoor play and exploration in our “Secret Garden.”
Through songs, hands-on instrument making, and joyful movement, children will learn that music is a wonderful way to praise God and celebrate the world He has made.

Designed for rising 1st-6th grade athletes, this camp offers hands-on instruction in all areas of the game, including hitting, fielding, pitching, catching, and base running. Led by the SBA high school coaching staff and players, campers will learn proper techniques, improve their skills, and have a great time competing in a positive, encouraging environment. Perfect for beginners and experienced players alike!

Our goal is to teach basic fundamentals for new players to the game and use those same fundamentals to develop skills for players who are more advanced. The campers will be instructed by some of the best coaches and players from this area. We want to focus on the entire game of softball which includes all positions on defense, hitting instruction from both sides of the plate and base running. The camp will not only offer individual instruction, but a strong emphasis on teamwork and team goals. Each day will include a testimony from one of our camp leaders, coaches or a guest speaker to share how Christ has impacted their life.

Come learn the basics of Gardening and Homesteading! This camp is dedicated to teaching about God’s creation and learning from how our Creator made and supports all of nature. We will get down and dirty in our raised garden beds, learn the basics of homesteading, and learn about farm animals through hands-on activities. Campers will get to design their own outdoor work apron and will even get to take home their own plant. Come expecting to get a little dirty!

People all around the world have been dancing since the beginning of time as a joyful form of expression.

This exciting, space-themed camp invites campers to embark on a cosmic journey filled with hands-on crafts, fun activities, and out-of-thisworld learning. At Camp Woodcraft, campers will engage in hands-on woodworking projects inside SBA’s new STEAM Lab. Campers will learn safe use of hand tools and explore the unique properties of wood while building fun and functional projects they’ll be proud to take home. Throughout the week, campers will be encouraged to work with their hands, develop problem-solving skills, and learn from mistakes by finding creative solutions. As we create, campers will be reminded that God has given each of us unique skills and creativity, and that working diligently with our hands honors Him. The practical skills learned at Camp Woodcraft help build confidence, independence, and a strong foundation that can benefit campers for a lifetime.

Get ready for a fun and “hands-on” week at our Talking Hands - ASL Summer Camp for 3rd–5th graders! Whether your child is brand new to ASL or already curious about sign language, this week-long camp is the perfect blend of learning and fun!

We will get up close and personal with various animals brought to us by wildlife experts. This entire camp will be conducted outside on SBA grounds, rain or shine. Children will need to plan on getting dirty and dress appropriately for the outdoors.

Super Seahawk Camp is an exciting, adventure-packed sports camp designed for both boys and girls. Super Seahawk offers an exciting lineup of sports and activities that keep campers moving, competing, and having fun.
Campers jump into a wide variety of sports—from basketball, soccer, and volleyball to flag football, pickleball, relays, and more. We keep things spirited with friendly competition, skill-building challenges, and team-based games that encourage every camper to get involved.
While we love to compete, our biggest focus is on teamwork, exercise, and building healthy habits. Campers learn how to support teammates, communicate, and push themselves while discovering the joy of staying active.

Join us for SOAR Fishing Camp with SBA’s very own Outdoor Education Director, Coach Al Rogers! Coach Rogers and special guests will share their knowledge, experience, and love of fishing while encouraging campers to appreciate the outdoors as part of God’s wonderful creation.
Campers will identify different species of fish and learn about their habitats, discover which fish to keep and which to release, and practice a variety of fishing methods and techniques to reel in the big one. Throughout the week, campers will participate in off-campus field trips, where they will put into practice what they’ve learned and enjoy hands-on fishing experiences in real settings. Along the way, campers will learn patience, responsible stewardship, practical skills, and a deeper appreciation for God’s creation.

Love being in the creek? Join us for Camp Creekside and experience creek life like never before! Campers will spend the week exploring and learning about the Friar Branch Creek that meanders through the SBA campus as well as the creatures that live within. Campers will learn about microorganisms, ecosystems, creek health, and creek stewardship while engaging in fun, hands-on activities. We’ll hear from local experts, use cool creek equipment, do lots of exploring, and safely catch and release organisms.

Campers will begin by learning to use Scratch, the innovative programming language created just for kids by MIT. They will be introduced to programming by using a variety of commands to animate characters and objects called sprites, create backdrops, add music and sounds, and much more. After animating animal bands, dancing ball art and crazy hungry monkeys, campers will use their new skills to explore and experiment as they design and program their very own video game or animation project.
Campers will then use their new skills to learn more advanced coding in Alice, an innovative block-based programming environment, to create their own 3D games and animations. They will learn to program character interaction, movement, and control keys within their own games and animations. Nemo, Dory, flying dragons, and aliens will keep campers engaged and having fun as they learn!

The SBA Art Department invites campers to enjoy a fun and inspiring week where each camper’s unique, creative gifts will be celebrated. Throughout the week, young artists will explore their creativity and discover how art can be a joyful way to express wonder, gratitude, and imagination. Campers will have opportunities to experiment with a variety of art materials and techniques as they create drawings, paintings, prints, and more. With an emphasis on creativity over perfection, artists will be encouraged to try new things, appreciate the beauty of God’s world, and use their unique talents to create with confidence and joy.

Manners, Magic & Merry Tablescapes. Calling all budding hosts and creative decorators! The Jolly Hostess Camp, allows campers to step into the magical world of holiday and celebration hosting. Each day, children in grades 2-5 will explore the art of etiquette, gracious hosting, and fun table setting through hands-on activities and festive fun.
From napkin folding to centerpiece creation, polite conversation to place setting perfection, your child will gain confidence, creativity, and charm. Each camp day features a new theme: Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas and more! By the end of the week, your little host or hostess will be ready to shine at any special occasion!

Each day campers will complete Lego challenges that get them thinking outside the box. Besides having a blast as they let their creative juices flow, here’s some of the additional skills your kids will be sharpening: problem solving/STEM challenges, team building/cooperation, public speaking: communicating in both a relaxed small and large group setting, confidence building through exploring new ideas and thinking outside the box

At Camp Move It, we like to move it, move it! Join us for a week of outdoor games that all relate to the theme of the day. We use noodles, dodge balls, bean bags, blow up flamingos and much more! Each day will begin with a Bible devotion, warm-up exercises and stretches followed by a variety of games and outdoor fun to keep you moving! We will have a theme each day and kids are encouraged to wear a t-shirt for that day’s theme. The last day of camp will be a day filled with water games! As we have fun playing games and moving, character qualities such as teamwork, sportsmanship and determination will be emphasized.

Draw. Aim. Shoot! Join us for an exciting week of Archery Camp led by Level 3 USA Archery Coach Alex Edwards. Campers will use Genesis compound bows and real arrows as they learn proper safety, form, and shooting techniques through hands-on target practice. This camp builds focus, confidence, and coordination in a safe, supportive environment—perfect for beginners and returning archers alike.

This exciting Color Guard Camp introduces students to the fundamentals of color guard through movement, dance, and the use of flags and equipment. Through creative expression and group routines, students will grow in discipline and encouragement for one another in a positive, supportive environment—making this camp a fun and engaging experience for both beginners and those with prior interest.
Those planning to march with the high school band on Friday nights are required to attend this camp but all are welcome to come, learn and discover something new at SBA.

Get ready for a week of curiosity, creativity, and hands-on experiments! At Weird Science Camp, campers will explore the wonders of God’s amazing creation through exciting, safe, and sometimes wacky science activities. From bubbling reactions to fun physics challenges, young scientists will investigate how the world works, ask questions, and discover the joy of learning through experimentation.
Campers will leave with a sense of wonder, new skills, and a few messy—but memorable— science experiments to show off at home!

Come join us for some fun in Minecraft as we explore and create in a creative, engaging and intuitive environment using Minecraft Education. Minecraft Education is a game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in an immersive environment where the only limit is your imagination. Students will start by completing mini-challenges and lessons to develop and sharpen Minecraft skills before using those skills and working together in large multiplayer worlds. From resorts to rides, join us as we recreate the magic of Disney World in Minecraft.

This delightful camp is perfect for campers who love dolls, books, and imaginative play! The week will be filled with fun hands-on activities, baking, crafting, and creative play designed to spark imagination and kindness.

Campers are encouraged to bring their favorite doll, baby doll, or stuffed animal each day to join in the fun, adventures, and activities. No specific doll is required—all dolls and stuffed animals are welcome for a week of creativity, friendship, and playful exploration!

Theater Camp is a one-week, all-day theater intensive for rising 5th-8th grade campers. Designed for performers of all experience levels, this camp invites campers to dive into the excitement of acting, movement, voice work, and creative expression.
Campers explore a wide range of theater skills—from character building and improvisation to stage presence, ensemble work, and physical storytelling. Through fun workshops, group rehearsals, and dynamic team activities, campers learn how to support one another, communicate clearly, and work together to bring scenes to life. On the last day of camp, we will perform songs and dances we have learned throughout the week!

This fun and active preschool soccer camp introduces young campers to the basics of soccer through ageappropriate games, movement, and skill-building activities. Join us for an exciting summer Basketball Camp designed for girls in grades 1–8! This camp is focused on building fundamental skills, confidence, and a love for the game in a fun, encouraging environment. Players will work on ball handling, shooting, passing, footwork, defense, and team concepts through age-appropriate drills, competitions, and games.

Our camp emphasizes sportsmanship, effort, and teamwork, while helping each athlete grow at their own level. Whether your child is new to basketball or looking to sharpen their skills, this camp is a great opportunity to learn, compete, and have fun this summer!
This camp will be directed by SBA High School Head Girls Basketball Coach, Victor Underwood, and assisted by other SBA basketball coaches as well as former Division 1 college athletes.

This co-ed soccer camp offers a clear developmental pathway across three stages: soccer fundamentals (1st–3rd grade), foot-skill refinement for middle school play (4th–5th grade), and advanced technical and tactical preparation for high school soccer (6th–8th grade).
Supported by Silverdale High School soccer coaches and players, campers train in a positive, disciplined environment that emphasizes skill development, character, and teamwork. For families exploring a different school experience, this camp showcases a higher standard of coaching and a holistic approach to developing student-athletes.

Love being in the creek? Join us for Camp Creekside and experience creek life like never before! Campers will spend the week exploring and learning about the Friar Branch Creek that meanders through the SBA campus as well as the creatures that live within. Campers will learn about microorganisms, ecosystems, creek health, and creek stewardship while engaging in fun, hands-on activities. We’ll hear from local experts, use cool creek equipment, do lots of exploring, and safely catch and release organisms.

Perfect for players of all skill levels, Pickleball Camp offers a fun and dynamic environment to improve your game! Campers will review the fundamentals, including serving techniques, court positioning, dinking, and more. With a mix of singles and doubles matches, participants will have plenty of opportunities to put their skills into action and refine every aspect of their game. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, this camp is your chance to grow, compete, and enjoy the thrill of pickleball!

Young ladies will dedicate the week to an in-depth exploration of subjects relevant to preteens. These topics include discussion of Proverbs 31, character development, table etiquette, conversation skills, hospitality, and leadership skills. Participants will engage in interactive and hands-on activities designed to build confidence and cultivate essential life skills. Through role-playing exercises, they will practice graceful introductions and learn how to navigate social situations with poise. We will focus on the art of hosting, where they will plan a mock event, complete with invitations, menu selection, and decor. By the end of the week, these young ladies will not only have improved their etiquette and leadership skills but also gained a deeper understanding of their personal values and how to reflect them in everyday interactions.

Jump into a summer full of stories, imagination, and fun! Reading Camp is designed to help students grow as readers while enjoying books in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Through engaging read-alouds, interactive games, creative activities, and plenty of cozy reading time, campers will discover just how fun reading can be.

Along the way, students will build confidence and strengthen their reading skills—often without even realizing they’re learning! Campers will leave with a greater love of books, new reading strategies, and excitement to keep reading all summer long and into the next school year.

Students will see that learning is a joyful time and it will spark their excitement for the new adventure that lays ahead!

Every summer, upcoming Silverdale middle and high school students are expected to complete the Math Mastery program for their upcoming math class. Math Mastery is considered ‘summer reading’ for math, and allows students to focus on mastering basic skills they have learned previously and will use extensively in their upcoming math class.
For those who would like the instruction, guidance, and accountability of a teacher to complete the summer Math Mastery program, SBA offers a Math Mastery Camp for each middle and high school math course.
The camp meets 80 minutes each day. The camp will be taught by SBA 6th grade Math teacher, Mr. Josh Schoening and SBA High School Math teacher, Mr. Jon Henderson. Each Math Mastery lesson and worksheet will be completed during the camp. When registering, look for Math Mastery and your child’s upcoming course.
