SIGNATURE GIVES BACK WELCOMES YOU! Dear Friends, Welcome to the Signature Gives Back 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament...presented by Signature Home Warranty Powered by Cinch Home Services. We are so appreciative and thrilled with the outpouring of generosity and thoughtfulness from the Tournament’s sponsors, donors, volunteers, golfers and friends. Proceeds from this event will benefit UnLIMBited Foundation at The Paley Institute as well as Signature Gives Back which in turn will be used to support other worthwhile charities and causes. A significant portion of last year’s Golf Tournament proceeds was donated to UnLIMBited Foundation to house a family while their son, Dameon (now two years old), had reconstructive surgeries on both limbs. Dameon is presently undergoing an extensive rehabilitation. Events such as Charity Golf Tournaments require a lot of creativity, hard work and perseverance. We certainly were blessed to have so many passionate and hard-working volunteers. A very special thanks to our Honorary Chair, Marcia Morrissey, and our incredibly talented Chairs: Gayle Elliott, Ivan M Benjamin, Jr., John Goss, Jr., Judy LeComte, Melainey Gunning, Rachel Gleichenhaus and Robert Gleichenhaus. ABOUT UnLIMBited Foundation at The Paley Institute (“UnLIMBited”) was established by the Morrissey family after their son, Tommy (now an eight-year old golf prodigy), was born with only one arm. UnLIMBited advocates and provides critical financial and other resources to help save children’s limbs and avoid unnecessary amputations through today’s advanced medical technologies. Often, families are offered amputation as the sole solution to complex limb differences. UnLIMBited’s strategic partnership with the world renowned Pediatric Orthopedic Limb Correction Surgeon, Dr. Dror Paley, and his team at The Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute in West Palm Beach, allows for limb lengthening and limb deformity correction as the solution versus amputation. Patient families relocate to Florida from around the world for up to six months or more while their child undergoes extensive limb saving surgery and rehabilitation. The cost of everyday living expenses, including lodging, transportation and food, can be devastating to many family members who often have taken a leave of absence from their employment in order to be close to the treatment hospital.
ABOUT Signature Gives Back (‘SGB’) is the charitable arm of one of the fastest growing real estate brokerage firms in South Florida: Boca Raton based-Signature Real Estate Companies (SREC). SGB’s mission is to inspire SREC’s 1,000+ real estate professionals, and others, to support various charities and worthwhile causes through selfless volunteerism and financial contributions.
