The Wantagh office had the privilege of donating food to St. Frances De Chantal Church. We were welcomed by Ele Ruth Melendez, Director of Parish Social Ministry, who showed us how these donations directly help feed families in need. It’s a powerful reminder of how important it is to give back. Even small acts of kindness can make a big impact in someone’s life. Proud of our Wantagh office for coming together to support such an amazing cause!

Deborah Berkman welcomed her third grandchild. A beautiful, bouncy baby girl, born on June 23, weighing in at 6 lbs 9 oz and 19 inches long.
Laurie Riechert’s son, Billy Riechert, was married on June 12 to his beautiful bride, Lindsey.
Katherine Caruso’s daughter, Sienna, graduated from Northport HS. She has received $6,700 in local scholarships. She is going to attend Indiana University this fall, receiving the National Excellence Scholarship and will be studying a Dual Certification in Elementary & Special Education along with ENL as part of their Global Gateway study abroad program.
Leonard Pollard became a published author! His book, “Small Claims Court in New York: A Step-by-Step Guide for Individuals and Small Businesses to Sue, Defend, and Win Without a Lawyer,” is now available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/ B0GS2NNSWL
He also founded and launched tech startup, PLOI (getploi.com) — an AIpowered platform that helps agents create listing content instantly, manage and score offers, and capture open house leads. Fran Mergoles’ daughter, Jenna Zaken, was a finalist in winning a $10K cash prize for The Flag Award for teachers in the NY boroughs.
Sophia Walker’s soon-to-be-7-yearold, Brianna, has just moved up to Brownie Girl Scout. Parents are super proud of her accomplishment and dedication to her Troop 536.

Jessica Easton’s daughter, graduated from Westhampton Beach High School on June 26th and will be attending Johns Hopkins University this fall.
Dawn Jordan’s daughter, Ashley, got married to her best friend, Jake, on May 2nd in South Carolina. It was an incredible and joyful celebration. Their golden retriever was the ring bearer.
Jeaneille Clarke, current president of the Sachem Special Education PTA, received the “Advocate in Action” and the “Excellence in Leadership” Awards by the PTA Council These awards honor members who go above and beyond in their roles, demonstrating outstanding dedication, creativity, and teamwork, inspire others take on volunteer roles and actively participate in activities that advance the PTA’s mission.
Jan Oberg’s 99-year-old father-in-law was honored with a very special plaque on First Responder Day at the Pines Elementary school in the Hauppauge Union Free School District and with the superintendent, all the children and first Responders.
JoAnn Aronson’s son, Zach, had graduated high school with a 4.34 weighted GPA, and is on his way to the Bentley Honors Program.
Melanie Karakatsanis found out on Mother’s Day that she’ll be a grandma again on or about December 11th, for her son, Nicholas, and his wife, Kathryn.
Lisa Miglino’s daughter had a new baby boy, Frederick Wilder, born on 6/15, weighing 7lbs 9oz at 20”. Little Brother to Willoughby.
Mary Lou Cella’s grandaughter, Katelyn, graduated from Hauppauge HS and finished her first semester at Suffolk Community College in the Paralegal Program.
Grandson, Thomas, completed his certification courses at the Operating Engineers School and got inducted into the Operating Engineers Union Local 14-14B.
“A Signature agent came to me in the Massapequa Park office with a problem. Their seller needed to buy a new home and use the proceeds from the sale to purchase a new primary residence. The kicker was the home to be sold was in an Irrevocable trust and they needed to buy the new home in the same trust for tax purposes. We were able to get them a competitive rate, close in 45 days and protect their assets in the trust.”
