It is my great pleasure to invite you on behalf of vendor Declan Patten and Family to the ‘Defining a Decade’ sale on farm at Glengarry.

Over the past decade I have had the pleasure to sell so many exceptional Holsteins and Jerseys for Lightning Ridge, to list all the great achievements would fill a book, but to Breed and Sell both the Holstein and Jersey Intermediate Champions at IDW in 2023 is nothing short of incredible.

Then follow up in 2025 by breeding Lightning Ridge CMD Dback Barbara-Red, EX the IDW Supreme Champion Dairy Cow of All Breeds and then going on to class EX 96.

Indeed this catalogue contains all saleable females that Lightning Ridge have and as we go though them there are just so many outstanding lots.

The All Australian 3 year old Holstein for 2025 View Fort Jagger Satin, VG 88 sells.

The All Australian 2 year old Holstein for 2025 Winwood LR Amaethon Rockstar, VG 2YR sells.

Jerseys class to EX 93 and Holsteins class EX sell.

Holsteins dams class 1 EX 96, 1 EX 95, 9 EX 94, 6 EX 92, 1 EX 91 and 7 EX 90, yes 25 lots sell from EX dams

Jerseys dams class 1 EX 96, 1 EX 95, 1 EX 94, 1 EX 93, 1 EX 92, 1 EX 91 and 1 EX 90, 7 lots sell from EX dams.

The one Guernsey is from a daughter of the EX 95 WDE Grand Champion Jazzy.

If we look at the 2nd generation we have two with EX 97 grand dams and not less than 25 from 2nd dams scored EX 94 or higher.

I have inspected the offering, they really are a credit to Declan Patten and know so much will be heard of them in the future.
