Welcome to the SiGMA South America awards and auction. It’s our fourth year here in Sao Paulo, and we’re excited to bring the Latin American market together once again. Tonight, as is tradition, the SiGMA Awards is hosting an art auction. Proceeds go towards supporting our charitable arm - the SiGMA Foundation. This year their projects have a strong focus on education and healthcare, with initiatives serving vulnerable communities across South America, Africa, and Asia.
Indeed, just this morning we had the pleasure of seeing the fruits of last year’s project - the launch of the Faculdade de Lute sports school - a joint initiative with the Centurion Association that has benefited young people in the Heliópolis region.
We have seen first hand how small efforts can become big changes over time. I believe this community can be a powerful force for good. Thank you for joining us and making a difference.

SiGMA realiza hoje um leilão de arte. Os fundos arrecadados serão destinados ao nosso braço filantrópico, a SiGMA Foundation. Neste ano, os projetos da Fundação priorizam educação e saúde, com iniciativas voltadas a comunidades em situação de vulnerabilidade na América do Sul, África e Ásia.
Hoje pela manhã, tivemos o prazer de testemunhar os frutos do projeto do ano passado: a inauguração da Faculdade de Luta, uma iniciativa em parceria com a Centurion Association que vem beneficiando jovens da região de Heliópolis.
Vimos de perto como pequenos gestos podem se transformar em grandes mudanças ao longo do tempo. Acredito que nossa comunidade tem o potencial de ser uma força poderosa para o bem. Agradecemos a todos pela colaboração e por fazerem a diferença.

Recover emerged during a period of stillness, when working from home meant leaving the airbrush and spray can behind. The same instincts remained - closer, rougher, more honest - reflecting a moment of recovery and the work that takes shape in the process.

Mais dura e direta, a obra reflete um momento de recuperação, ao mesmo tempo em que preserva sua linguagem lúdica de distorção - transformando as observações do dia a dia em imagens estranhas, bemhumoradas e profundamente humanas.
KAMPUS began tagging Lisbon streets as a teen, developing a playful visual language of observation and distortion. Known for his recurring “Sausage” character, he now creates paintings and drawings from memory - transforming everyday moments into strange, humorous, deeply human images.
