Dear Ms Mwendwa

RE: GRAF ENDORSEMENT – SIGMA AFRICA 2026

The Gaming Regulators Africa Forum (GRAF) is pleased to formally endorse and support SiGMA Africa 2026, to be held at Sun Exhibits, GrandWest, Cape Town, South Africa, from 3–5 March 2026.

SiGMA Africa has established itself as a premier platform for convening African gambling regulators, industry stakeholders, and technology innovators to engage on critical regulatory, compliance, and market development issues. Its focus on collaboration, innovation, and regulatory dialogue aligns closely with GRAF’s mandate to promote regulatory excellence and cooperation across the continent.

In particular, GRAF welcomes the opportunity to partner with SiGMA in hosting a high-level Regulatory Forum during SiGMA Africa 2026. This invite-only forum, themed “From Discussion to Direction: Advancing Harmonised Licensing, Responsible Gambling and Technology-Enabled Solutions in Africa,” represents a significant step toward translating regulatory dialogue into practical, coordinated outcomes. By convening senior regulators and decision-makers, the forum will support progress on harmonised licensing approaches, enhanced player protection, and the effective use of technology to strengthen regulatory oversight.

GRAF’s endorsement reflects our shared commitment to advancing responsible gambling, regulatory alignment, and cross-border cooperation in response to Africa’s rapidly evolving betting and gaming markets. Engagement through platforms such as SiGMA Africa enables regulators to exchange insights, address emerging challenges, and collectively develop sustainable, African-led regulatory frameworks that promote certainty, transparency, and market integrity.

We value our partnership with SiGMA and look forward to contributing to a successful and impactful SiGMA Africa 2026. Through continued collaboration, GRAF remains committed to strengthening regulatory cooperation and supporting the development of a transparent, responsible, and sustainable gambling ecosystem across the African continent.
