Be The Match is a global leader working every day to save lives through cellular therapy The Be The Match Registry® is the most diverse registry in the world and includes both adult donors willing to donate to a stranger in need and stored cord blood units. Donation is safe, free and confidential. Unfortunately, not all patients have an equal chance of finding a match. The good news is students have the power to disrupt this disparity and literally save lives by adding potential donors to the registry

3 Ways to Earn Points
1 Plan and execute a 30 min educational session for your chapter members and campus peers to learn about Be The Match

Sessions must be facilitated by a Be The Match staff member or trained Be The Match campus member SAE members can also become a trained volunteer–ask your rep how! Save 5–10 minutes at the end of each session for attendees to swab and join the registry
If you have a Be The Match campus group, notify them of your event so they can help spread the word!
1 point for SAE members (SAE members can attend once for credit)
2 points for non-SAE students
1 point for each new individual who joins the registry
2 Host or join a Be The Match Registry drive in your community, on campus or online
Your Be The Match representative will train your members and send you all the supplies and swag you need!
If you have a Be The Match on campus group, you can team up with them to host an event or volunteer at a pre-existing drive
1 point for each new individual who joins the registry
3 Set up your chapter's team in the Be The Match volunteer portal in just 5 minutes This is needed to complete the Be The Match volunteer waiver and logs total volunteer hours

As chapters earn points, they earn prizes including $1,500 in gift cards The chapter with the most points takes the coveted "Swabbing Minerva" gold statue!
