SAFETY MEASURES: Preparations for the safe return of some students this week.
BACK TO SCHOOL News as boarding goes temporarily online As we have been working hard behind the scenes finalising our safety measures for the return of boarders for the next academic year, we were delighted to see a small number of our weekly boarders in years 10 and 12 come in for their day of school per week. Whilst boarding won't be open this term, it was lovely to check-in with some of our students and get a small sense of normality returning. Our Head of Boarding, Bunny Baker has been putting together extensive plans to make sure that our reopening has strict and stringent regulations that will ensure the safety and welfare of our boarding family. This is, and always has been, our main priority as a community. As always, we have had an enjoyable week in our virtual boarding world - with our forums and live events proving entertaining and supportive as we near the end of the academic year.
COMMUNITY SPIRIT Updates from our online world Alongside seeing a small number of students in person, as they attended their day in school and came to gather their belongings for the summer holidays, we have seen a good number of our community online whether that be through our forums or in our weekly meetings. In the Fielding meeting we discussed the return of the football season, long-range outdoor quizzes and delicious recipes. One of the great successes of our forum is the ability to share recipes from afar. India tried Anna's Kalterhund recipe this week and shared the results with everyone on the Fielding forum. We wonder who will try the recipe next! Sharing food was a big part of our lives in the boarding house, so it is wonderful to
