Aswecometogetherasaschool community,thisisanopportunitytoreflect onayearofpositivechange,growthand achievement.Thisyear,wehave successfullynavigatedtheintroductionof thenewshapeofthedayandthelaunchof Horizons.Ithasbeenwonderfultoseethe positivity,resilienceandenthusiasmwith whichpupils,staffandfamilieshave embracedthesedevelopments.Thereisa realsenseofmomentumacrosstheschool andmuchtocelebrate.
Wecelebratetheachievementsofour pupils,notonlyintheclassroom,butalso throughsport,thearts,serviceandthe countlessactsofkindness,friendshipand perseverancethatdefineourcommunity. Wethankourstafffortheirdedicationand ourfamiliesfortheirpartnershipand support.
Aswelookaheadtonextyear,thereis muchtobeexcitedabout.Theintroduction ofourThink!curriculumacrosstheJunior SchoolandKeyStage3willfurther strengthenwhatmakesaSibfordeducation distinctive.Throughafocusonpeace education,problem-solving,cooperation andcriticalthinking,wewillcontinueto prepareyoungpeoplenotonlyfor examinations,butforlife.
OurCelebrationDayalsogivesusthe opportunitytothankStuartandHeidi Fowlerfortheiroutstandingservicetothe schoolthroughboththePSFAandthe GoverningBody.Theirgenerosity, commitmentandselflessnesshaveenriched ourcommunityimmeasurably,andweare deeplygratefulforalltheyhave contributed.Whilsttheirformalrolesmay beending,theywillalwaysremainpartof theSibfordfamily.Inthetruestsenseofthe phrase,theywillalwaysbeFriendsforLife.
