The Auburn Magnet is located at 123 Auburn Avenue in Sweet Auburn, a historically Black neighborhood that has experienced significant movement and displacement due to urban development. The project acts as a monument honoring the historical community while empowering the present one. It serves as a unifier of past, present, and future, encouraging the reunion and reanimation of the community and creating a space that supports its growth for generations to come.
