The black hole “Gargantua”, this cosmic beast with its irresistible gravity, devouring all the celestial bodies that dare to approach, as if it were the hand of fate, tightly strangling the throat of all things. Its power to distort space and time, like an impassable chasm, divides the explorers from their home. For Cooper, it was a trial of the soul, a test of courage and faith. When he decided to fly into the unknown, he was not only paying tribute to the spirit of human exploration, but also linking his personal destiny to the future hope of mankind. Under the shadow of “Gargantua”, Cooper faces not only physical challenges, but also a deep reflection on selfknowledge and the value of existence.

Tesseract, on the other hand, is a gateway to the multidimensional universe, which breaks our habitual concepts of three-dimensional space and linear time, and opens a window to the deep structure of the universe. In this labyrinth of countless cubes, each room carries a moment in Murphy's life. Cooper travels through this palace of time as if shuttling between memory and reality, challenging the traditional notion of time while posing a contemplative question: how do we define the echoes of the past, the moments of the present, and the calls of the future in the dimension of non-linear time?

Mysterious 5 - Dimension

In the magnificent sci-fi epic “Star Trek”, the black hole “Gargantua” and the fivedimensional field “Tesseract” are like two jewels in the depths of the universe, glittering, which not only reflect the mystery of natural law, but also lead us to ask about the meaning of life, the meaning of time and the infinite possibilities of love. They not only reflect the mystery of the laws of nature, but also lead us to inquire about the meaning of life, the true meaning of time and the infinite possibilities of love.

This love, expressed in the structure of the Tesseract, becomes a bridge between the past and the future, across dimensions. It proves that even in the most extreme circumstances, human emotion can shine through, illuminating the darkness and guiding the way.

Garden Space - Game Levels

As the basic element of architectural language, it carries rich emotional and symbolic meanings. Traditional gardens often use doorways and windows to realize the visualization of the landscape, such as leading, forming and borrowing the landscape.

Volcanic Inspiration

Experience Feeling

Theoretical Basis Installation & Scene

The focus of the project is on environmental narrative and performance, taking the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature in volcanoes as a starting point, post-phenomenology as a narrative methodology, and HCI as a way of organizing the performance system.

Performance System

Human - Computer Interaction

Postphenomenology attempts to objectively study human experience using technological artifacts rather than things. It investigates and focuses on these experiences to help understand how technology shapes the connections between humans and the world.

The post-phenomenological concepts of hermeneutic and embodiment are fully utilized in this project. hermeneutic is the main focus of the project, as the audience reads the volcano's information through the installation's displays, lights, and music. Hermeneutic is the focus of the project, as the audience reads the volcano through the installation's displays, lights, music, and other settings, which can be freely interpreted to gain their own understanding of the volcano.

The main role of the embodiment is played by the scanning of the volcanic stone by the participant, which triggers the start of the whole work, and by the manipulation of the screen by the participant to get the feeling of the volcano.

Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is the study of the interaction process between humans and computer systems, particularly the way in which computer technology is designed and used to support people in accomplishing tasks. It combines knowledge from psychology, cognitive science, design, and computer science to create technologies that meet user needs and provide a good user experience.

The project realizes immersive human-computer interaction through tactile, visual and data feedback. After participants touch the volcanic stone, the scanned data is transformed into a unique image display, reflecting the connection between personalized experience and history and nature. The work combines emotional computing and context-driven design, emphasizing the interaction between individual and collective sharing, exploring the deep relationship between people and the environment, and transcending traditional interaction to create a profound artistic and cognitive experience.

Environmental narratives are a form of storytelling used to describe the relationship between people and the natural environment. Their purpose is to stimulate interest in environmental protection and to promote sustainable development.

The project combines narrative environments and performance systems to create a dynamic storytelling experience through interactive space and participant behavior. The scanning process initiated by touching the volcanic stone is both an “unraveling” of the volcano's history and energy, and an interactive performance between the participants and the space. The work uses environmental elements (light, sound, and video) to create a context that leads the viewer into a constantly changing narrative space, where the participants' behavior becomes part of the “performance” and influences the presentation of the story. Each participant's interaction not only drives the story, but also participates in the “performance” of the space, creating a fusion of individualized and collective performances and narratives.

Performance Scene Sketch

The main display serves as both as an environmental decoration in the scene and as part of the installation, and is an important part of the overall performance system. The flowing screen shows the raw data of the volcanic stone CT and the images processed by the scanning device, the display records the data and image results of the participants' performances, and the flowing screen records the ongoing story...

The project constructs a performance that takes place in an entire scenario, which includes the installation, the main display, the environmental decorations, the participants and the entire scenario.

In the dim atmosphere, a lone light beckons the explorers like the brightest star in the night sky. As curious souls drew near, they followed the guidance of the light and gently touched the volcanic stone that came from the depths of the earth. With this ceremonial touch, a magical journey between reality and dreams begins.

The installation serves as an important part of the performance system, bringing the audience as actors into the whole performance.

The project envisions visualizing the image and feeling of the volcano through light. Therefore, the lines and patterns naturally formed by the volcano were inspired and extracted as a preconception for the form of the light strips.

The unit as a whole consists of three main monoliths. The structure and form of each monomer is the same, and the three monomers enclose to form the device as a whole. The center of the device forms a triangular area, and bears the shelves and scanning table in the performance device.

Narrative

Each participant is transformed into a [traveler] and enters the journey in a way that transcends the norm. Each scan opened a doorway into the unknown, revealing the secrets of the Ulanhada volcano - ancient and powerful energies, unsolved mysteries, and stories hidden deep within the rock. These messages are like ancient runes, waiting for the wisdom of the interpreter to unravel the meaning behind them.

Each image generated from this interaction is carefully recorded and converged into a flowing picture that slowly unfolds on the installation's large screen. They not only witnessed the unique experience of each traveler, but also became part of the dialog that connects the past and the future, mankind and nature. Through this kind of artistic expression, people can have a glimpse of a wider world, where people and the environment are inextricably linked; where every observation and reflection can give us a deeper understanding of the world, and motivate this journey to continue to extend in a more profound direction.

The main stabilizing and connecting structure of the unit is a Series 40 angle piece with T-bolts and flange nuts. Plate is available in two materials:

# a_Pick up the volcanic rock and scan it.

# b_Selecting objects and adjusting parameters. [Traveler] observes the scanning device and picks up a volcanic rock from the center. [Traveler] places the stone into the upper scanning table, and the scanning mechanism is triggered.

[Traveler] controls the scanning process through three touch screens on the first floor.Through the upper matrix, [traveler] can select different slices of the volcanic stone in conjunction with the scene's big screen.Through the lower adjustment ring, the traveler can adjust different parameters of the scanning process.

# c_Interpretation of results obtained # d_Flowing and sustained images

This produces different results, which are displayed on three monitors on the second floor.Changes in operation will result in dynamic changes in the results, which the traveler can interpret in his own way.

These messages are like runes, waiting for wisdom to unravel their meaning. In this performance, people will be able to glimpse a wider world and will try to understand the world of volcanic nature in a new dimension.

activities and services anymore, which is kind of boring. Nothing new in this feedback, not too keen to get involved in recycling next time.

Let's start sifting through the recyclables and hopefully get some second hand clothing or materials through the platform as well if we can.

Recycling is pretty easy with the option of online transactions, so I'll just mail it in.

Well, second hand clothing is fine, try it.

Second hand clothes are available but how come the source is not provided, I can't be sure of the safety of the products that have been altered. Once you've completed the recall, see how the platform feeds back. There was no reward back for my participation in the recycling. There are no channels to connect with other users of the platform to communicate and co-operate

There are so few recycling organisations to be found and they seem to be limited to offering second-hand clothes without textile materials.

User Experience Journey

BonBox will build on the problems associated with existing recycling organisations to produce a community recycling brand that is more conducive to the participation of today's youth. The brand concept is presented through the How Might We, Ideation, and the user experience journey maps show the new experience that BonBox creates.

Selection and Confirmation

More user-friendly recycling methods are provided for users with different lifestyles, including Door-to-door, Mail, and Offline BOX.

Users can check the progress of recycling, the direction of recycling and the source of second-hand recycled textiles through the online APP, and the transparent recycling process improves users' trust and willingness to recycle.

After participating in recycling, users can participate in offline BOX activities and get ready for participating in workshops after getting recycled materials from offline BOX.

There is a wider choice of categories, notably in the expansion of the categories of textiles acceptable for recycling from complete clothing to bits and pieces of fabric in a variety of materials.

How Might We

1. Enrich the overall content of the recycling process to suit the preferences of young people.

2. Strengthen the transparency of the recycling process to make young people believe more in safety.

Not only does BOX allow you to recycle and view parts of the recycling process, but it also allows you to participate in workshop DIY activities with other users to share ideas and feelings about recycling and creating, and BOX also provides a fun offline display space for the work.

1. Offline space to establish brand image and provide physical touchpoints to improve user trust.

2 Establish online small flower incentive mechanism and online and offline community mode to enrich the experience of recycling.

3. Provide users with transparent and equal recycling process information through APP+offline space, so as to dispel users' worries about the recycling source and safety.

BonBox provides users with a complete and user-friendly recycling experience process, every time you complete recycling you will get the growth value of the user's personal small flower in the APP, and the ID card is also one of the feedback mechanisms.

If offline communities create interesting experiential touchpoints for recycling, the online communities in the app are an infinite continuation of that experience. Online + Offline makes the brand impact sustainable.

The offline BOX is the base of the user's offline community, through which the user can make like-minded friends, or even a good environment to start business co-operation and more interesting outreach activities. This is an important part of building brand extensibility

UI Explanation Diagram

As the home page of BonBox APP, it covers the main functions of the app and also undertakes the functions of event promotion and creations preview.

It’s the main menu page of the BonBox APP, it guides the user to all the other main function pages of the APP.

When a user recycles using the app, they need to submit a recycling information form. It contains information such as personal information, recycling textile category, recycling method, recycling time, etc.

Effect]

The concept of [community] is one of the core of the BonBox project, through which all users are brought together and sparked in the process of interaction.

The format is like a usual social media, but BonBox focuses on the field of recycling and re-creation of used textiles. The sharing behavior of the community corresponds to the users' willingness to share, and the users get a sense of achievement and continuous motivation to recycle and re-create because of the community communication.

Through this kind of close communication online, offline behaviors are carried over to online and continue to be recycled.

Personal Motivation

The BonBox App has a carefully designed Personal Page and Flower Growth Page for users, where they can witness their entire journey through the textile recycling experience at BonBox and gain a visual sense of achievement.

Transparent Progress

Transparent and open recycling progress, where materials go and where they come from is the absolute foundation of user trust.

When the look-back process starts, users can view the recycling process through the app throughout. Additionally users can view where the recycled textiles are coming from and where they are going.
